UGC NET 2024: The NTA will be conducting the UGC NET 2024 re-exam from August 21 to September 4, 2024. The authority released the revised UGC NET 2024 schedule. Why Is The UGC NET 2024 Admit Card Important?
The UGC NET 2024 admit card is an important document that needs to be carried by the candidate in the examination hall. Without an admit card, candidates will not be allowed to sit in the exam. It consists of details including the name of the candidate, roll number, application number, category, date of birth, photo, signature, father's name, gender, whether a person with a disability, etc.
Along with the candidate details, the UGC NET 2024 admit card also consists of the exam and exam centre details, including the exam date, exam shift and time, exact address of the UGC NET exam centre allotted to the candidate, reporting time at the centre, UGC NET subject applied for, gate closing time of the centre, exam day instructions, etc.

Therefore by releasing the UGC NET city slip, the NTA gives chance to make necessary arrangements like travelling, accomodation etc.
On the other hand, the UGC NET admit card is a hall ticket for the candidates who are going to appear in the UGC NET exam. The admit card comprises the exam cente address, shift timing. The admit card is released a few days before the exam day. The candidates are not allowed to the exam hall if they don't have the UGC NET admit card whereas the city slip is not required for the UGC NET exam.
