UGC NET Exam Analysis 2022 (Phase 2)

National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the Phase 2 exam of the UGC NET December 2021 and June 2022 merged cycles on September 20, 21, 22 and 23, 2022. Candidates who appeared for the UGC NET 2022 Phase 2 exam shared their feedback regarding the difficulty level of the questions asked in the exam. As per the candidates’ feedback in terms of UGC NET exam analysis 2022, the overall difficulty level of the exam was moderate.

Candidates found a few sections of UGC NET Paper 1 a bit difficult such as Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation, People & Environment, etc. UGC NET exam analysis 2022 is provided below in detail based on the students’ reactions and feedback.

UGC NET Exam Analysis 2022 by Students (September 21)

The UGC NET 2022 Phase 2 exam held on September 21 was moderate in terms of difficulty level. Shiksha visited one of the UGC NET exam centres 2022 in Delhi to gather feedback from students. Students who appeared for the exam shared that the Paper 1 difficulty level was moderate. Check the detailed UGC NET exam analysis 2022 below:

One of the students stated, "Paper 1 was easy and Paper 2 (Linguistics) was difficult. Paper 2 was not easy to attempt.”

Amrita stated, "Paper 1 was easy and Paper 2 was difficult. The difficulty level of Paper 2 was high this year."

Ayush stated, "UGC NET Paper 1 was easy to moderate. Paper 2 (Linguistics) was also easy. There were direct questions. There were questions from Teaching and Learning, Data Interpretation, Mental Ability, etc. UGC NET cut off 2022 would be same as that of previous year."

Kumar stated, "Questions from Paper 2 (Linguistics) were similar to previous years. Paper 1 was easy, however, Teaching Aptitude section was a bit difficult. UGC NET cut off 2022 would be approximately 200 this year."

Anurag stated, “The UGC NET 2022 exam was a bit difficult due to the options. This was my second attempt and paper was a bit hard.”

Priya stated, “Difficulty level of UGC NET question paper 2022 was moderate. Comprehension was easy and Data Interpretation was difficult.”

Sumit stated, “Paper was moderate. Mathematical Reasoning was a bit tough. Teaching Aptitude questions were a bit tricky. UGC NET cut off 2022 would be around 200.”

Nayantika stated, “Paper 1 was moderate and Paper 2 was difficult. Questions were from Ratio and Percentage, Average, Teaching Aptitude, Research Aptitude, etc. 

Ariba stated, “Paper 1 was easier in comparison to Paper 2."

Wasim stated, "Paper 1 was moderate. Paper 2 was a bit hard. Mathematical Reasoning was quite difficult."

Sanjiv stated, "Paper level was moderate. DI and Research Aptitude were easy to attempt."
