UPSC 2024 Answer Key, Analysis & Expected Cutoff

Union Public Service Commission is conducting the UPSC CSE (IAS) 2024 prelims exam today. The Civil Service Exam (CSE) is conducted to recruit the candidates for the three All India Services and Central Civil Services. The Commission released the UPSC IAS 2024 admit card on June 7 on its official website - upsc.gov.in.
 The UPSC prelims exam will be conducted in two sessions and the candidates will be required to appear in both sessions and clear both papers.

UPSC CSE (IAS) Answer Key 2024

The candidates can see below the Steps to download the UPSC CSE (IAS) 2024 Prelims Answer Key.

Step 1. Visit the official website of UPSC-upsc.gov.in

Step 2. Click on the Examination tab, a dropdown list will appear 

Step 3. Click on the Answer Key button

Step 4. Click on the Download button of the exam for which answer key needs to be seen.

The Union Public Service Commission will release its official answer key after the declaration of the final result. The candidates will get here the UPSC answer key 2024 released by the Coaching institutes.

UPSC 2024 Prelims Question Paper Analysis

The UPSC Prelims Exam will be conducted in two sessions. The UPSC prelims question paper analysis will be available here after the first session. Since the second paper is of qualifying only, the General Studies paper 1 decides the qualification of the candidates. The candidates will get here the UPSC Prelims sectional breakup and the difficulty level of the questions asked in each section.

 

UPSC 2024 Expected Cutoff

The candidates should understand the UPSC prelims are conducted in two sessions. The marks secured in the UPSC General Studies paper 1 will be considered for selection. The candidates need to breach their category cutoff to qualify for the UPSC prelims exam. The UPSC prelims depends on the following factors:

  • Difficulty Level of the question paper
  • Number of vacancies

I had darkened the wrong bubble for my roll number on the OMR sheet but write correct roll number in box. I immediately brought this to the attention of the invigilator. The invigilator corrected the mistake using whitener. Will my OMR get checked or rejected?
