UPSC ESE Prelims 2024 on February 18; Last date to register today

Candidates who have not registered yet for the UPSC ESE Prelims Exam 2024 can register for the Engineering Services Preliminary Examination 2024 through the official website, upsc.gov.in and upsconline.nic.in.

UPSC ESE Prelims Exam 2024: The Union Public Service Commission is all set to close the registration window for UPSC ESE Prelims Exam 2024 today, September 26. Candidates who have not registered yet for the UPSC ESE Prelims Exam 2024 can register for the Engineering Services Preliminary Examination 2024 through the official website, upsc.gov.in and upsconline.nic.in.

According to the official schedule, the UPSC ESE Prelims examination will be held on February 18, 2024, at various exam centres across the country. Meanwhile, UPSC ESE admit card 2024 will be released on the official website three weeks before the commencement of the examination.

UPSC ESE 2024: How to apply?

Candidates can follow the easy steps given below to apply for the UPSC ESE exam 2024.

• Visit the official website - upsc.gov.in
• On the homepage, go to Apply Online section and select One Time Registration for Examinations
• Then register yourself and login
• Fill up the form and pay the fees
• Submit the details and download the form
• Take a print out of the same for future reference

UPSC ESE 2024 Exam will comprise of two papers. Paper 1 will be General Studies and Engineering Aptitude for 200 marks for 2 hours and Paper 2 - Engineering Discipline for 300 marks for a duration of three hours. Candidates belonging to general or unreserved category have to pay the application fees of INR 200. While all females, SC, ST, PwBD category candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.

Eligibility Criteria

The UPSC recruitment drive is conducted to fill a total of 167 posts in the organization. In order to apply for the recruitment drive, candidates must be minimum of 21 years and maximum 30 years as on January 1, 2024 to apply for UPSC ESE exam 2024. Apart from this, the candidate must have an engineering degree.
