UPSC IAS Application Form 2025: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has extended the last date to fill out the Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2025 application form to February 18. Earlier, the last date to submit the UPSC IAS application was February 11 at 6 pm. Candidates are required to fill out the UPSC IAS 2025 application by visiting the official website: upsc.gov.in.

The reason for the extension of the UPSC IAS application date 2025 has not been mentioned in the notification. Along with UPSC Civil Services (Preliminary)-2025, the deadline to fill the Indian Forest Service (Preliminary) exam has also been extended. Also, the UPSC IAS 2-25 application correction window will be available from February 19 to 25 allowing candidates to make necessary changes.

How to Fill UPSC IAS 2025 Application?

Candidates who have completed their graduation and fall within the age limit of 21 to 32 years can fill out UPSC IAS application form online. They can check the steps provided below to know how to fill out UPSC IAS application form:

Step 1: Visit the official website: upsconline.nic.in or upsc.gov.in

Step 2: Click on the link for One-Time Registration (OTR), on the homepage

Step 3: Fill out the basic information such as name, date of birth, and contact information

Step 4: Submit the UPSC IAS registration form. An OTP will be sent to the registered email or phone number for verification

Step 5: After verification, log in with the generated credentials

Step 6: Fill up UPSC IAS application form by providing personal details, educational qualifications, and preferred exam centres

Step 7: Upload scanned images and pay the UPSC application fee

Step 8: Submit the form and take a printout of it for future references

The UPSC IAS Civil Services prelims exam is set to be conducted on May 25, with around 979 vacancies to be filled, including 38 reserved for candidates with benchmark disabilities. The UPSC IAS consists of three stages: preliminary, mains, and interview. It is used to select candidates for various positions, including the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), and Indian Police Service (IPS).
