UPSC IAS 2022 List of Rejected Applications Released

UPSC IAS 2022 exam will be conducted on June 5. UPSC released the list of rejected applications online on March 11. The candidates can check whether their applications were rejected or accepted. Union Public Service Commission rejected the Civil Service (IAS) 2022 application because of the non-payment of the application fee.

UPSC rejected 79 applications because their application fee was not received against their applications. The candidates should check whether their applications are on the rejected list or not. In case they find that their application is rejected, they can send the documentary evidence (hard copy) to the designated officer in the UPSC office by March 21.

The candidates need to send the hard copy of the UPSC application fee receipt by speed post or by hand only to Shri Arun Kumar, Under Secretary(CSP), Union Public Service Commission Examination Hall Building, Hall No.2, 4th floor, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069.

The appeal against the rejection should reach the aforesaid person before or on March 21, 2022. No appeal reaching after the prescribed date will not be considered. The candidates can also personally hand over the evidence at the USPC office counter.

UPSC IAS 2022 vacancies

UPSC 2022 vacancies are highest this year compared to the last five years. This year the number of vacancies is 1011. The original notification mentioned only 861 vacancies, but later 150 vacancies of the Indian Railway Management System (IRMS) were also added to the exam by UPSC.

UPSC IAS 2022 prelims exam will be conducted on June 5 in offline mode across the nation. Civil Service Prelims 2022 will be an objective type exam comprising two papers of two hours each.
