UPSC IAS 2024: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released a notice for the candidates who have registered for UPSC IAS. According to the notice pdf, a total of 34 UPSC IAS application form has been rejected due to non-payment of registration fees. The bank has not confirmed receiving the INR 100 fee for the 34 candidates listed who had applied for the Civil Service (Preliminary) Examination 2024.

Those whose UPSC IAS application form has been rejected can appeal within 10 days. They must make sure their appeal has to be sent by speed post or in person at the Commission's Office by April 15, 2024. As per the announced date, the IAS 2024 prelims exam is scheduled to be conducted on June 16. 

What to do in case UPSC IAS Application Form 2024 Has been Rejected? 

In such a case, candidates can appeal till April 15, 2024. To do this, they need to send the specified original documents as hard copies either by speed post or in-person to Smt Kiran K. Arora, Under Secretary (CSP), at the Union Public Service Commission Examination Hall Building, Hall No.2, 4th floor, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069. 

They must note that if the required documents are not received by the deadline: April 15, 2024, the UPSC IAS 2024 application will not be considered. After the deadline, the Commission will not respond to any further inquiries or requests regarding this matter.

Documents Required to be Attached with UPSC IAS Application Rejection Appeal 

  • They need to attach the system-generated challan (in original), in case the fee has been paid/deposited through cash mode in SBI
  • Also, if the fee was paid using a debit/credit card or through internet banking from authorised banks, applicants must submit a copy of the relevant debit/credit card statement or bank account statement. This document should be officially verified and stamped by the bank authorities
