UPSC IAS 2022 vacancies increased to 1011. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) issued an addendum regarding the number of vacancies in the Civil Service Exam 2022. The UPSC included 150 vacancies of recently notified Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS) in the Civil Service exam 2022. The IRMS was recently notified as to the Central Civil Service Group A. The Department of Personnel issued an order to include the 150 vacancies of IRMS in the Civil Service Exam 2022. Consequently, UPSC released the addendum for the increase in the number of vacancies.

Earlier, UPSC released the Civil Service 2022 notification for 861 vacancies on February 2. The last date to apply for the exam is 22 February. The candidates can apply for the exam online only and the process of the application is given below.

How to apply for USPC IAS 2022 Exam?

The UPSC 2022 application has two parts. Part-I is for the registration and the second part is uploading the photo, signature and photo id card. Besides this, the candidates need to submit the application fee in part -II only through net banking, credit/debit card and offline as well.
The candidates can apply for the UPSC IAS 2022 exam in the manner given below.

UPSC IAS 2022 Part –I Registration

  • Visit the official website of UPSC- upsconline.nic.in
  • Click on the Exam Notifications tab.
  • Click on Apply Online link.
  • Click on the link available for Civil Services Part-I registration.
  • Read the application form instructions carefully and click on Yes.

UPSC IAS 2022 Part-II Application

Part two requires the application fee and uploading of the picture and signature. The application fee is prescribed in the official notification.

The number of UPSC vacancies will serve as the motivation factor for the candidates. The last time, when the UPSC vacancies were over one thousand was in 2017.
