SBI PO notification 2022 PDF has been released for 1673 Vacancies. The application form will be released on September 22. The last date to apply for the exam October 12.

State Bank of India (SBI) has released SBI PO notification 2022 for 1673 vacancies of Probationary Officers (PO). The application process will begin from September 22, 2022. The last date to apply for the exam is October 12. The prelims exam will be conducted on December 17, 18, 19 and 20, 2022. The mains exam will be conducted in January 2023/February 2023. This year, SBI has introduced psychometric test in the Phase 3 of SBI Clerk selection process.

SBI PO Eligibility Criteria 2022

SBI PO age limit is between 21 to 20 years as on April 1, 2022. Candidates must be graduate in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government. Those who are in the Final Year/ Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before December 31, 2022. There is restriction in the number of attempts as given below.

SBI PO Selection Process

The selection for Probationary Officers will be done through a three-Phase process- Preliminary exam, main examination and psychometric test, Interview & Group Exercises. The candidates will have to qualify both in Phase-II and Phase-III separately. The marks obtained in Main Examination (Phase-II), both in the Objective Test and the Descriptive Test, will be added to the marks obtained in Phase-III for preparing the final merit list. The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Phase-I) will not be added for preparing the final merit list for selection. The marks obtained by the candidates in Phase-II (Main Examination both Objective & Descriptive Tests) and Phase-III (Group Exercise & Interview) will be normalised to 100 marks as detailed below.

The final merit list is arrived at after aggregating (out of 100) converted marks of Phase-II and Phase-III. Selection will be made from the top merit ranked candidates in each category.

SBI PO Salary

Presently, the starting basic pay is INR 41,960 (with 4 advance increments) in the scale of 36000-1490/7-46430-1740/2-49910-1990/7-63840 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I. The official will also be eligible for DA, HRA/ Lease rental, CCA, Medical and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time.
