CUET PG 2024 examination candidates are requesting the Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan, the University Grants Commission and the National Testing Agency (NTA) to reschedule the exam as it is clashing with their semester exam. The NTA has announced the schedule of CUET PG 2024, which will be held in the month of March.

Candidates preparing for the upcoming Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for postgraduate studies have voiced their concerns over a scheduling clash with their semester examinations as the NTA recently unveiled the schedule for CUET PG 2024. However, this timing has sparked apprehension among students like Prayag, who expressed, β€œKindly consider rescheduling the CUET PG entrance exam to April. Many students, including myself, have final semester exams in March, coinciding with the current exam date. Extending it would ensure fair opportunity for all aspiring candidates.”

Echoing similar sentiments, Aditya Kumar, one of the CUET PG candidates writes on X: β€œI am writing to inform you of a scheduling conflict between the upcoming CUET PG (2024) exam and an exam scheduled by my BBMK University for old-course students GE-2 Paper. So, I kindly request to reschedule the exam or provide an alternative solution.”

Another candidate Vivika Dwivedi sharing her concern on X, writes that Our semester exam is in March and the CUET PG exam is also in March. Please postpone the date of the CUET PG exam. This is a matter of our future.

Karan Sharma emphasized the significance of rescheduling writes, β€œMost students' semester exams are clashing with cuet pg exam 2024 and the session starts verry late so plz extend the cuet pg exam date.”

β€œOur semester exams and cuet pg entrance exams are scheduled in the same month so I am requesting you to please reschedule the entrance exams!!!,” says Harleen tagging Education Minister in her tweet.

CUET PG 2024 Exam Schedule

The National Testing Agency has announced the dates of the CUET PG exam, which will be conducted from March 11 to March 28, 2024.

Issuing a public notice, NTA has stated that it will be conducting the Common University Entrance Test CUET (PG) β€” 2024 from 11 March 2024 to 28 March 2024 in CBT (Computer Based Mode) throughout India and in 24 cities outside India.

The National Testing Agency has been mandated by the Ministry of Education and UGC to conduct Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for admission into Postgraduate Programmes in Central and State Universities and other Institutions / Organizations / Autonomous Colleges.

As per the NTA, CUET (PG) is providing a single window opportunity for students seeking admission in any of the Central Universities (CUs) or other participating Institutions / organizations (including State Universities, Deemed and Private Universities) across the Country.

The aforesaid examination is proposed to be held in 44 shifts in total. Each shift will be for 105 minutes duration.

The CUET (PG) β€” 2024 examination will be conducted for 157 subjects for 4,62,589 unique registered candidates and they will be administered 7,68,389 tests. Candidates were given an option to choose a maximum of 4 Test Papers/subjects.
