NTA is starting the CUET UG 2024 exam from May 15 to May 24, 2024. Students appearing for the examination must check unfair activities that can debar students from appearing in the CUET exam here.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will begin the CUET UG 2024 exam from tomorrow i.e. May 15, 2024. Students appearing for the entrance exam must go through the do's and don't before and during the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) here. The examination will be held in Hybrid mode comprising both computer-based Test (CBT) and Pen and Paper mode. Approximately 13.4 Lakh candidates will be appearing in the entrance examination across 380 cities including 26 cities outside India.
NTA has released the definition of unfair means practice along with breach of examination rules at the notification. Students must go through the following points carefully to know things to avoid during CUET 2024 exam days:
Unfair Means
Unfair means practice is an activity that allows a student to gain an unfair advantage over
other candidates. The guilty student will be booked under an unfair means (UFM) case and will be debarred for three years in the future and will also be liable for criminal actions. Unfair means in CUET 2024 includes, but is not limited to the following:
- Being in possession of any item prohibited at the exam centre including communication devices, accessories, ornament or any other material information about the examination.
- Using someone to impersonate on behalf of themselves during the CUET UG 2024 exam.
- Breaching examination rules or any direction issued by NTA concerning CUET UG 2024.
- Contacting or communicating with any person, other than examination staff, during th examination time.
- Manipulation with online documents namely Admit Card, Rank Letter, Self Declaration form.
- Forceful entry in /exit from Examination Centre/Hall.
- Not attempting the question paper for long time intervals.
- Tearing of the Answer Sheet, any page of the test booklet.
Note: Any candidate with more than one application number will be liable guilty under unfair means practice and strict actions will be taken against such candidates.
