CUET UG 2024 Exam Live Updates: CBT Admit Card (Out), Question Paper, Answer Key, Difficulty Level

NTA will conduct the CUET 2024 examination for Delhi candidates (along with affected candidates of Kanpur state) on May 29. The exam was scheduled on May 15 but was postponed due to unforeseen event. 

The CUET UG 2024 will be held in CBT mode on May 21, 22 and 24.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) successfully conducted the Day 4 (May 18 2024) exam. Minor challenges were efficiently addressed, ensuring a smooth examination process and a fair and secure environment for all test takers. 

NTA will conduct the CUET CBT exam from May 21 to 24 at 600 exam centres across 300 cities across India and abroad. 

NTA will conduct the CBT (computer based test) mode examination for 48 subjects (31 languages and 17 domain) specific subjects on May 21, 22 and 24, 2024. 

NTA successfully conducted the CUET UG 2024 exam on May 18 with approximately 3.35 lakh test papers in the subjects of History, Political Science and Sociology. 

Students will be able to check several details in the CUET hall ticket including information about the exam centre, exam day guidelines, reporting time, exam timing and other vital details.

UGC Chairman reported that a total of 35,728 students appeared for the CUET 2024 Sociology exam at 431 exam centres. The overall attendance percentage in the CUET 2024 Sociology exam was 84%.

A total of 1,61,360 students appeared for the CUET 2024 Political Science exam at 580 exam centres. The attendance percentage for the CUET 2024 Political Science exam was 78%. 

A total of 1,37,601 students appeared for the CUET 2024 history exam at 542 exam centres across India. The attendance percentage for the CUET 2024 history exam was 84%. 

UGC Chairperson Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar informed that the CUET UG 2024 exam for May 18 successfully concluded at 603 exam centres across India. The examination was conducted for History, Political Science and Sociology. 

Students can now download CUET 2024 CBT admit card with the help of application number and date of birth. 

NTA has released the CUET UG 2024 admit card for CBT mode at the official website. Students appearing for the CUET exam from May 21 to May 24, 2024, can download their hall tickets from the official website. The NTA CUET 2024 admit card download link for CBT mode is activated at https://exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/. 

The overall difficulty level of the CUET 2024 sociology examination was easy to moderate. Questions were asked from the NCERT syllabus only. Some topics which were asked in the examination were secularism, socialisation and capitalisation. 

The CUET UG 2024 May 18 exam concluded at 6:15 PM. The shift 3 examination was conducted for the Sociology examination for a duration of 45 minutes. Students will soon be able to check the CUET 2024 Sociology question paper and students' reactions here. 

The CUET 2024 May 18 shift 3 exam has begun for the Sociology subject. The shift 3 examination for the Sociology subject will be conducted for a duration of 45 minutes. Students will be given 50 questions out of which 40 questions need to be attempted. 

The overall difficulty level of the CUET 2024 Political Science Exam was easy to moderate. The examination was NCERT-based and the majority of the questions were from Indian relations and USSR, topics. The questions were direct and students were able to complete the exam within the stipulated time period.

The CUET UG 2024 May 18 shift 2 exam has started. The shift 2 examination is being conducted for the Political Science examination. The duration of the examination is 45 minutes. Students will be given 50 questions in the CUET 2024 Political Science question paper out of which 40 questions need to be attempted. 

Students reported that questions were asked from the partition and constitution sections. Questions from modern history were more in comparison to ancient history. A student, Harsh, reported that questions were also asked from the Vijayanagara Empire and questions of 'match the following' was easy. 

The overall difficulty level of the CUET History exam was easy. The questions were based on the NCERT syllabus and could be easily completed within the time duration. 

The CUET UG 2024 May 18 shift 1 concluded at 2:15 PM. Students will be sharing the CUET 2024 history exam analysis at any moment. Students's reactions along with CUET UG 2024 history question paper difficulty level will be shared once the students are out of the examination centre. 

NTA has started day 4 of the CUET 2024 exam today at 1:30 PM. The authorities have started the examination for the history examination which will conclude at 2:15 PM. A total of 40 questions has to be attempted out of the available 50 questions in the CUET UG 2024 history exam. 

Students are suggested to follow the below points which are highlighted based on the NTA CUET dress code to avoid last-minute stress:

• Avoid wearing full-sleeved clothes, clothes with many zips/pockets, any jewellery, and metallic items to the CUET exam centre.
• Avoid wearing belts and other accessories.
• Students are suggested to wear slippers, and sandals in place of shoes as the authorities will make students remove shoes during security check

Students appearing for the examination are suggested to check the below-mentioned points:

1. Make sure to have a CUET 2024 admit card with easily visible details.
2. Reach the CUET 2024 exam centre before an hour of reporting time to avoid traffic.
3. Make sure to read CUET UG 2024 exam day guidelines and check if they have missed any details.
4. Students must carry an original government ID card with them to the CUET exam centre.

NTA will start the CUET May 18 exam with the History subject. The CUET History exam will be conducted for 45 minutes i.e. from 1:30 PM to 2:15 PM. Students have to attempt questions very carefully as one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. For each correct answer, students will be allotted five marks. 

NTA will conduct three examinations on May 18 exam day. The Shift 1 will begin at 1:30 PM with History subject followed by Political Science from 3:30 PM and Sociology from 5:30 PM. All the examinations on May 18 will be held for a duration of 45 minutes.

NTA has issued a notification stating that due to incorrect CUET 2024 question paper distribution at Kanpur's Maharana Pratap College of Pharmacy on May 15, NTA will conduct another shift of the CUET UG General Test Paper on May 29 for the affected candidates. 

The city coordinators and flying squad members deployed by NTA assisted students in reaching the correct examination centres. NTA deployed over 30 officials at various old examination centres to assist students in reaching the correct CUET 2024 exam centres. Students who had not downloaded the revised CUET UG 2024 admit cards were accommodated in nearby centres.  

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that for the first time, the CUET UG exam is conducted in Pen & Paper mode for 15 subjects in Bangkok, Cape Town, Dohar, Dubai, Hanoi, Hong Kong, Kathmandu, Kuwait City, Lagos, Moscow, Ottawa, Singapore, Washington D.c. and other centres abroad.

NTA has notified that Day 3 of the CUET UG 2024 exam has been successfully concluded at 620 examination centres across the country and abroad. As much as 5.39 lakh test papers in Geography, Physical Education, Business Studies and Accountancy were recorded. 

 Meghalaya CM assured that he will raise exam delay concerns with the central authorities. The CUET English exam was delayed at the North Eastern Hill University (NEHU) campus on the May 15 exam day due to a biometric system failure that consequently made students furious. 

NTA is conducting the CUET UG exam 2024 in hybrid mode. The CUET 2024 exam from May 15 to May 18, 2024, is being conducted in pen and paper mode while the exam from May 21 to May 24, 2024, will be held in CBT mode.

NTA has rescheduled the May 15 examination for the Kanpur centre due to the wrong distribution of question papers. Now the CUET UG exam for Kanpur centre will be held on May 29, 2024. 

NTA has concluded day 3 of the CUET 2024 exam at 6 PM today. Students who appeared for the examination can check have shared the subject-wise exam analysis for Geography (313) Physical Education (321), Business Studies (305) and Accountancy (301). The overall difficulty level of the CUET UG 2024 accountancy exam was moderate. Some of the questions from the previous year were repeated with language change. Questions were asked from cash flow statement topics. Students reported that the questions were direct but the CUET 2024 accountancy paper was lengthy. 

The overall difficulty level of CUET UG 2024 Business Studies exam was easy. Students reported that the questions were NCERT-based and they were able to complete the paper on time. 

NTA has successfully concluded the CUET 2024 examination for Day 3 with the accountancy subject exam. Students will be able to check the CUET 2024 exam analysis based on students's reactions shortly. The CUET UG 2024 May 18 exam day will have three shifts i.e. Shift 1, 2 and 3. The examination will include History, Political Science and Sociology exams. Students who will be appearing in the CUET exam tomorrow are suggested not to study any new topic and focus only on revision. 

The CUET UG 2024 Accountancy exam has started. Accountancy is the process that consists of the process of recording and classifying business transactions. The CUET 2024 accountancy exam duration is one hour i.e. from 5 PM to 6 PM. This subject belongs to the commerce stream. 

UGC Chairman Mamidala Jagades Kumar reported that a total of 1578 exam centres were used on Day 2 i.e. May 16 as CUET exam centres. Further, Kumar notified that 72% of students who registered for CUET UG appeared during day 1 and day 2 of the CUET UG exam. 

NTA has successfully concluded the CUET Business Studies Exam at 3:45 PM today. The examination was held for a duration of 45 minutes. The authorities will begin the Shift 2B examination at 5:00 PM. Shift 2B consists of the accountancy subject examination. The CUET Accountancy exam duration is 60 minutes.  

The CUET CBT mode is the mode of examination where candidates have to give their examinations online i.e. through computers. The full form of CBT mode is Computer Based Test. The questions are displayed on screen and students have to solve the questions within a stipulated time period. 

The examination for CUET UG 2024 Business Studies has started. The exam will be conducted till 3:45 PM. Students will be able to know the CUET UG 2024 Business Studies exam analysis once the examination concludes. Along with the exam analysis, students' reactions, difficulty level of the exam and other details will be shared.  

NTA has concluded the CUET UG Physical Education exam at 12:45 PM today. The overall difficulty level of the CUET UG 2024 Physical Education exam was Moderate. No questions were asked from the Yoga section. However, no reports of out-of-syllabus question was reported. 

Students shall keep the following CUET 2024 exam day guidelines in mind: 

1. Students must check they have a CUET admit card 2024 with clear details visible.
2. Applicants are suggested to report to the examination centre before the stipulated time to be stress-free.
3. Candidates must ensure they have valid original government photo ID cards present

The overall difficulty level of the CUET UG 2024 General Test was moderate to difficult. Students reported they were unable to complete all the questions within the stipulated time period. However, the mathematical and logical reasoning questions were tricky. 

The overall difficulty level of the CUET UG 2024 English exam was moderate. Students reported the English exam was more difficult than the Boards exam but time was sufficient. However, the question paper was NCERT-based. 

The overall difficulty level of the CUET 2024 biology exam was moderate to difficult. However, all the questions asked were NCERT-based. Questions were asked from  Molecular Basis of Inheritance, Biodiversity and its conservation and reproductive health topics.  

The overall difficulty level of the CUET Chemistry exam was difficult. Students reported that the exam was difficult in comparison to the board exam. There were more questions from inorganic/organic chemistry and Physical chemistry was easy to attempt. 

The CUET geography exam has been concluded. A student, Shivanshi reported that the overall difficulty level of the exam was moderate. The maximum questions were asked from primary activities from the Geography Part 1 book. Map-related questions were also asked. 

Another student, Khushi, who appeared in the geography exam reported that the CBSE Geography exam was tougher than the CUET Geography exam. Further, no out-of-syllabus questions were asked in the exam. She further reported that the examination was moderate and she was able to complete the examination within the stipulated time duration.  

The CUET UG 2024 Geography exam was overall moderate. Students have reported that the questions were asked from the World section. 

The Day 3 Shift 1A of the Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduates (CUET-UG) has concluded with the Geography examination. A student appearing for the CUET 2024 exam in Odisha has reported electricity failure at one of the CUET 2024 exam centres in Odisha. Reportedly, St Xavier's High School, Dhenkanal has had a power failure since morning. Consequently, a delay in examination formalities occurred at the examination centre. 

NTA has started Day 3 of the CUET 2024 exam with the Geography subject exam. The exam is being conducted for 45 minutes i.e. from 10 AM to 10:45 minutes. The CUET geography subject code is 313. 

CUET 2024 exam centre gates have been closed. The CUET 2024 Geography exam will commence at 10 AM. 

The CUET May 17 exam will conclude with the Accountancy subject. The CUET Accountancy exam will be held between 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. 40 out of 50 questions will need to be attempted. Each question carries five marks. However, one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. 

The CUET May 17 exam for Shift 2 A will be conducted for Business Studies subject. The CUET Business Studies exam will be held between 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM. Out of 50 questions, 40 questions needs to be attempted. NTA will allot five marks for each correct answer and deduct one mark for each incorrect answer. 

NTA will conduct the second exam on May 17 exam for the Physical Education subject. The CUET Physical Education exam will be conducted between 12:00 to 12:45 PM. Students will be given 50 questions out of which 40 questions need to be attempted. For each correct answer, students will be allotted five marks and for each incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted. 

NTA will begin the CUET May 17 exam with the Geography subject. The CUET Geography exam will be conducted for 45 minutes i.e. from 10 AM to 10:45 AM. Students will have to appear 40 questions out of 50 available questions. For each correct answer, students will be allotted five marks. Further, one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. 

The following items are disallowed inside CUET exam centre 2024: 

1. Any electronic gadget such as mobile phone, microphone, earphone, smartwatch
2. Any textual reference or book
3. goggles, belt, handbag, wristwatch, camera
4. Any metallic item or jewellery

The following items are allowed inside CUET exam centre 2024:

1. CUET UG 2024 admit card
2. Government ID card
3. Transparent water bottle
4. Self-declaration form

Female students appearing for the CUET UG exam must follow the dress code as mentioned below:

1. Avoid wearing scarves and excessive hair clips
2. Avoid wearing jewellery or other metallic ornaments
3. Female students must avoid applying henna on their hands
4. High heels sandals must be avoided
5. Topwear or Bottomwear with many zips and pockets must be avoided. 

Male students appearing for the CUET UG exam 2024 are suggested to follow the dress code mentioned below

1. Avoid wearing belts and other accessories
2. Full sleeves clothes must be avoided
3. Metallic items shall be avoided
4. Topwear or Bottomwear with many pockets and zips shall be avoided. 

Students appearing for the CUET exam must check the following exam day guidelines:

• Download CUET admit card 2024 and take printouts at the examination centre. 
• Make sure to reach at least an hour before the CUET UG 2024 reporting time at the examination centre.
• Make sure to read and adhere to the exam day guidelines mentioned in CUET UG hall ticket 2024.
