The National Testing Agency (NTA) has confirmed a retest for the CUET UG 2024 examination, set to take place on July 19 for approximately 1,000 candidates. This decision follows numerous complaints raised by students regarding the exam's conduct, leading the NTA to address these grievances.

The CUET 2024 provisional answer key was released on July 7, indicating that the retest would occur if any of the grievances were found valid. Among the candidates affected, around 250 are from Oasis Public School in Hazaribagh, a center currently under scrutiny due to alleged paper leaks associated with NEET UG. All candidates from this institution are mandated to participate in the CUET UG 2024 retest.

Other reasons for the retest include issues such as loss of exam time and the distribution of question papers in incorrect languages. These complications have raised significant concerns among students and stakeholders.

Following the CUET 2024 re-test, the NTA is anticipated to release CUET result 2024 by July 22, aiming to provide clarity to the candidates involved. The CUET UG exams were originally scheduled from May 15 to 24 but faced delays when the NTA postponed exams in Delhi due to logistical challenges. The examination eventually commenced on May 19.

Irregularities in CUET 2024 Answer Key Reported by Students

Many students have reported irregularities in the CUET 2024 answer key and are awaiting a response from the NTA regarding these allegations. According to the students, the provisional answer key contains several incorrect answers, making it difficult to justify the payment of INR 200 for each objection. Additionally, the provisional answer key incorrectly identified option 5 as correct, despite it not being listed as an option in the question paper.
