Delhi University updates admission portal as PG deadline nears; corrigenda issued for select postgraduate programmes.
With CUET PG 2026 registration deadline just a day away, Delhi University (DU) has updated its official admissions portal, activating important links for postgraduate and undergraduate admissions. CUET PG 2026 applications will close on January 14, CUET UG 2026 notification is already out, an important window for aspirants planning to apply to DU for 2026–27 academic session.
CUET PG 2026 registration, Last Date January 14
According to information available on the DU admission portal, candidates seeking admission to postgraduate programmes at Delhi University should apply through CUET PG 2026, conducted by National Testing Agency.
Delhi University has reiterated that:
- CUET PG scores are mandatory for PG admissions
- Last date to submit the CUET PG application form is January 14, 2026
- Admissions will be conducted later through DU’s own counselling and seat allocation process
PG aspirants are advised to complete registration well before deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues.
CUET UG 2026 notification released; DU confirms admission through CUET
Delhi University has also provided access to the CUET UG 2026 notification and application link on its admissions website. University has once again confirmed that all undergraduate admissions will be based on CUET UG scores.
DU has stated that:
- Class 12 board marks will not be used for preparing merit
- Course and college allocation will take place through Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) after CUET UG results
PG Bulletin of Information for 2026–27 available
DU has uploaded Postgraduate Bulletin of Information for the 2026–27 academic year, outlining complete admission framework for PG programmes.
DU PG bulletin includes details on:
- Programme-wise eligibility criteria

NTA released the CUET PG 2026 information brochure and exam notification on December 14, 2025. Candidates could select four city choices while filling the CUET PG 2026 application form. The city choices had to be entered in order of preference within their present and permanent address. Based on this, NTA will allot the exam centre. NTA reserves the right to allot any exam city to the candidates that is not among the candidates' selected choices.
No, Delhi University offers admission to the BSc programmes at its colleges based on CUET score only. There is no provision for direct admissions. Hence, aspirants must take the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). The national-level exam is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). It is conducted in different phases. Eligible students can apply on NTA website to take the test. Students seeking admission to DU colleges should select DU college plus preferred course at the time of registration.
After CUET result declaration, aspirants are required to register on DU CSAS portal. The course and college allotment process is done based on the preferences submitted by the students during the form filling. After final selections, students can pay the admission fee to confirm admission.
For seat allocation at DU, students are required to lock their college and course preferences after the result is out. Delhi University will consider normalised scores provided by NTA to calculate the merit scores as per programme specific eligibility. The highest possible preference will be provisionally allocated to the candidates considering the following
criteria:
- Program-Specific merit
- Category of the students (UR/ OBC-NCL/ SC/ ST/ EWS/ Minority)
- Availability of seats
- Any other allocation rules, policies, or criteria citied by (CSAS (UG)- 2025) or University of Delhi
