DU's UG CSAS admission portal launched; Commences Admissions on 71,000 UG seats of 79 Courses

Now there will be reservation of one seat for single girl child under supernumerary quota: Registrar Dr. Vikas Gupta

University of Delhi has launched its Undergraduate (UG) admission policy for the academic session 2024-25. The first phase of undergraduate admissions in the university has started with the launch of the UG admission portal “Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS)” during a press conference held on Tuesday, May 28.

Along with this, admission policy was also released for School of Open Learning (SOL) and NCWEB. While talking to the journalists on this occasion, DU Registrar Dr. Vikas Gupta said that from the new academic session, one seat will be reserved for single girl child in each class of all the colleges and departments under the supernumerary quota. It is noteworthy that last year, for the first time in the country, DU had made reservation arrangements for orphan students also.

Delhi University to admit students on 71,000 UG seats on 79 Courses

Registrar Dr. Vikas Gupta said that on the basis of CUET score, admission will be done in 79 programs out of about 71000 seats in undergraduate Programmes. He informed that a total of 183 combinations are available in BA programs of 69 colleges/departments.

The University of Delhi offers 79 Undergraduate Programs and 183 B.A. Program combinations through its 69 Colleges. There are close to 71,000 seats offered in the Colleges of UoD. About 1500 unique Program + College Combinations are offered by the University of Delhi. Admission to all these Programs and Colleges is based on the merit score obtained from the Common University Entrance Test (CUET (UG)- 2023.
