The IAT 2024 registration portal opened on April 1, 2024, and the last date for filling out the form is May 13, 2024. IISER 2024 admissions will not only provide admissions at IISER institutions but from this academic session 2024-2025, IAT 2024 will also provide admissions to programmes like Bachelor of Science (Research) and BS-Medical Sciences and Engineering at IISC Banglore and IIT Madras respectively. Interested applicants can visit the official website of IAT 2024 ie., https://iiseradmission.in/ to complete the first step of the IAT 2024 registration process. 

For admissions to the programmes offered at IISC Banglore and IIT Madras candidates are required to fill out the two application forms:

• The first application form is the same which all the candidates had to fill out while applying for IAT 2024.
• The second application form needs to be filled separately by the candidates on the IISc AND/OR IITM admission portal as applicable.

NOTE: In other words, students wishing to apply for the programs listed above MUST apply to both IAT 2024 the said program separately.

The IAT 2024 application form started on April 1, 2024, and the last date for filling out the IISER 2024 application form for both processes is May 13, 2024. Candidates seeking admission to IISER 2024 entrance exam must appear for a computer-based IISER Aptitude Test (IAT-2024). IAT-2024 will be conducted on June 09, 2024 at 9:00 AM, at various centres across the country. Before applying for the online registration process, it is advised for the interested candidates to go through the eligibility criteria carefully to not lose their candidature in the last.

Five years age relaxation is given to SC, ST, and PwD candidates, i.e. these candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1994. iii) Criterion 3 – Appearance and performance in Class XII examination: ● Candidates must have passed Class XII (or equivalent) exam with science stream in 2022, 2023 or 2024 from any board recognized by Council of Boards of School Education in India COBSE.
