IISER will start the fifth round of IAT 2023 Counselling process on August 2, 2023 for the academic session 2023-2024. IISER Pune offering BS-MS dual degree programme closed its counselling process on July 28, 2023. Earlier, IISER's fourth round of counselling concluded on July 30, 2023. IISER Offers Fifth Round of Counselling From August 2, 2023.
IISER 2023 Admissions Counselling Updates: Candidates getting enrolled in the BS-MS dual degree programmes offered by various IISER Institutes, need to participate in the counselling rounds provided by the examination conducting body. The fifth round of counselling will start on August 2, 2023. Candidates are requested to visit the official website i.e, iiseradmission.in to check whether they have received any offer of seat by IISERs (The IISER preferences which candidates had earlier frozen). The offer letter that the candidates are getting is purely based on the merit list scores that they have achieved in the IAT 2023 examination. The late date to accept the seat offered by the respective IISER is August 4, 2023.
Counselling process at IISER Pune has been closed. Since there won't be subsequent rounds of admissions to IISER Pune, all the candidates who had IISER Pune as their first preference but are offered in an IISER that is their second preference (in Round 4) will see the option "Accept and Freeze", and NOT the option "Accept and Float". Please check the course and IISER offered to you before you make a decision.
IISER 2023 Counselling: Process to Confirm the Seat Acceptance
To confirm the Seat Acceptance for a particular course and IISER preference, you can follow the below steps:
1. Log in to the IISER account on the official website.
2. Click on Decision Making Form.
3. To check your Allotted Seat, click on “Click Here to view Allotted Seat”
4. On clicking, a new tab will be opened with allotment details.
5. To take any action, click on Generate OTP.
6. For Preference 1, only the “Accept and Freeze” button will be shown
7. For Preference other than 1, there will be “Accept and Freeze” and “Accept and Float” options.
8. To confirm the seat, you need to select one option and process for Payment. Post payment, Fees details will be updated.

IISER has specified on the official website that holding further rounds of offers will depend on the necessity. Decision on holding further rounds of offers will be announced at a later time.
