IIT JAM 2024 Modification/ Correction Window Updates: IIT Madras, the exam authority, started the IIT JAM 2024 application correction process on November 24, 2024. Applicants who wish to edit their details in the IIT JAM 2024 application can visit the official website, i.e., https://jam.iitm.ac.in/ and login to their JOAPS account portal to edit the details. The last date for editing the details in the IIT JAM 2024 application form is November 30, 2024.The correction fee is INR 300 for modifying examination cities, test papers, categories, or gender. The candidates who provided inaccurate category or gender information can also correct it by paying additional fees. Steps to Modify IIT JAM 2024 Application
The candidates must follow these steps to modify the IIT JAM 2024 application:
- Visit the official website of IIT JAM 2024.
- On the homepage, select the highlighted link tab.
- Provide your login details as requested.
- Access the correction window tab by clicking on it.
- Revise the information in the application forms.
- Verify all the details for accuracy.
- Click on the submit button.
- Download and print a copy for future reference.
IIT JAM 2024 Form Correction: Details can be corrected
The following section brings the list of fields that can be edited:
- Choice of exam centers and exam cities
- Exam Paper
- GCP (for changing Gender or Category or PwD status in the application)
- Change other details: Name, DoB, Parent/Guardian Name, College Name, Year of Passing, Communication Address.

It will be held on February 11, 2024, in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) featuring seven test papers - Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Economics (EN), Geology (GG), Mathematics (MA), Mathematical Statistics (MS), and Physics (PH). IIT JAM 2024 Admit Card will be released on January 8, 2024.
