IIT JAM 2024 Registration to End on October 13; Know Where And How To Apply

The exam authorities has not release any official notice regarding the extend of the JAM 2024 application process. IIT JAM 2024 Application Form Updates: IIT Madras, the examination conducting body for JAM 2024 examination will be closing the online registration on October 13, 2024. Interested applicants can visit the official website of IIT JAM 2024 i.e., https://joaps.iitm.ac.in/ to register themselves first. After the basic regisatrion is done, then only candidates can move to other steps of JAM 2024 Application Form. 

The Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Madras opened the JOAPS portal for the online application form of IIT JAM 2024 examination on September 5, 2023. Aspirants preparing for IIT JAM 2024 examination to pursue MSc courses are advised to check the minimal eligibility criteria before applying for the JAM Application form. IIT JAM 2024 for the academic session 2024-2025 will be conducted by IIT Madras, the examination conducting body on February 11, 2024. Aspirants who had already completed an undergraduate degree (BSc) or are currently studying in the final year of undergraduate programmes are eligible to apply for the exam.

How to fill IIT JAM 2024 application form?

• Go to the official website, jam2024.iitm.ac.in
• On the homepage, navigate and click on the IIT JAM 2024 link to register
• Candidates will be redirected to JOAPS portal.
• Enter the basic details to register yourselves
• Fill the application form and upload the documents
• Choose the test papers and pay the application fee
• Save the form and take a print out for future reference

IIT JAM 2024 Application Fee

No application will be accepted without IIT JAM 2024 application fee. The application fee for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST,) and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories and female candidates is INR 900. Whereas, all other applicants will be required to pay INR 1,800.

Joint Admission Test for MSc (JAM) is an all-India level online entrance exam conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) every year on a rotational basis on behalf of the Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), Government of India. IIT JAM is conducted to provide admission to candidates in MSc and other postgraduate courses offered at IITs and integrated PhD courses offered by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. Several National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) also accept JAM scores for MSc admissions.
