JNU offers admissions to UG and COP Programmes through CUET UG 2024

Admission in B.A. (Hons.) in Foreign Languages, B.Sc. Programme in Ayurveda Biology and Certificate of Proficiency Programmes of Jawaharlal Nehru University for the Academic Year 2024-25 will be through CUET (UG) 2024. 

Interested candidates must apply at the NTA's official website - https://exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/ to appear in the CUET UG 2024 examination.

The eligibility criteria include at least a Senior School Certificate (10+2) or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate. Candidates who have obtained their Higher Secondary Certificate under the 10+1 pattern of education will be eligible for admission to the COP programmes if they have successfully completed the first year of Bachelor's degree examination of a University under 10+1+3 pattern of education with the prescribed percentage of marks, i.e., 45%. Students not appearing in the prescribed Subjects/Tests for these programmes shall not be admitted to these programmes.

Admissions in these programmes shall be based on the performance of the candidates in CUET (UG)-2024 and deprivation points earned by the eligible candidates taken together.

Currently, the CUET UG 2024 application process is underway and the last date to fill the application form is March 26, 2024. For admission to JNU, the candidates must separately apply at the official website - www.jnu.ac.in after the declaration of CUET (UG) – 2024 result.
