JNU Extends Semester Registration Process Till Jan 17; Know Process and Details Here

JNUSU met with the rector and raised the issue of the extension of semester registration. The necessary changes and the notification will be released soon on the web portal. 

JNU Exam Submission Last Date

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has extended the semester registration deadline till January 17, 2025. Students who are appearing for the semester examination shall apply online to appear for the examination at the earliest and not wait for the registration deadline to avoid last-minute discrepancies. The authorities are likely to open the registration window with a late fee. However, no information about the same has been officially notified yet.  

Jawaharlal Nehru University Students' Union Vice President, Avijit Ghosh has notified that the JNUSU met with JNUSU met with the rector and raised the issue of the extension of semester registration to which the admin has assured that the file is under process and the official notification will be released soon.

JNU Semester Registration Process

Students can check the registration process for the JNU semester application form below: 

Step 1: The student has to pay semester fees online as per the online payment tab from the official website. 

Step 2: Next, fill the courses in the blank form and send it to the respective School / Center email IDs given in the registration process tab.

Students from the engineering and management department are advised to check the instructions carefully before making fee payments and course registration

JNU Student Protested  

Students who protested for their demands in Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) have been fined. When many students refused to pay the fine; the process of registration for the next semester was hindered. However, later on, the student union says that the JNU administration has assured to remove the fine. JNU administration had recently introduced a new Proctorial Manual highlighting the tightness in the protest pathway.
