NTA May Delay CUET UG 2024 Result Amidst NEET, UGC NET Crisis

CUET UG result 2024 is essential for admission to UG courses offered by participating institutes and central universities like Delhi University, Allahabad University, Banaras Hindu University, Jamia Millia Islamia, Jawaharlal Nehru University and other top universities accepting CUET UG scores. 

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is likely to delay the results of the Central University Entrance Test (CUET-UG). The CUET UG 2024 result may get delayed owing to the paper leak allegations on the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for Undergraduates (NEET-UG) and University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET). 

CUET UG is a single window examination for admission to the participating institutes/universities along with admission in undergraduate courses at 46 central universities including Delhi University, Allahabad University, Banaras Hindu University, Jamia Millia Islamia, Jawaharlal Nehru University and others. 

However, the NTA information bulletin states that the CUET UG 2024 results will be out by June 30, 2024. However, the result may get delayed because of the present scenario. Meanwhile, the CUET UG 2024 answer key is likely to be released next week, as reported by Indian Express.

As per the latest turn of events, Subodh Kumar Singh, Director General of the National Testing Agency (NTA), has been placed on compulsory wait amid NEET UG 2024 paper leak controversy.

The delay in CUET UG 2024 results would also extend the admission calendar for all participating universities. As the admission process is based on CUET results, the respective authorities have to adjust their admission calendar accordingly. 

Reportedly, this is not the first time that CUET UG results may have been delayed. In the year 2022, CUET UG results were delayed as late as September.
