SSC CGL 2022 Live Updates, Notification, Application link, Age Limit, Previous Year's Vacancies and Cutoff

SSC CGL 2022 notification was scheduled to be released online on September 10. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) released the exam dates in its SSC revised exam calendar on July 6. In the revised calendar, the SSC issued the application and tentative exam dates. The notification has not been released till this time.

SSC CGL post-Statistical Investigator Grade-II has the special educational qualification required for the appointment. The details are given below:

Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects from a recognised University or Institute. The candidates must have studied Statistics as a subject for all three years or all 6 semesters of the graduation course.

This requirement makes it very particular to the candidates who have studied statistics in their graduation.

SSC notifies special qualifications for the post of Junior Statistical Officer:

The details about the qualification is 

Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level;
Or
Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.

SSC notifies additional educational qualifications for the Group B gazetted posts. The following are the details of additional educational qualification as mentioned for the given post.

Educational Qualification Required

The minimum educational requirement for these SSC CGL posts is a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university or institution. 

Desired Qualification

Chartered Accountant or Cost & Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Masters in Commerce or Masters in Business Studies or Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or Masters in Business Economics.

Mandatory Part: 

During the period of probation direct recruits shall have to qualify for the “Subordinate Audit/ Accounts Service Examination” in respective branches for confirmation and regular appointment as Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer.

The candidates should note that there is no reservation for ESM in Group B services. SSC CGL notification specifically mentions that "Vacancies for ESM are reserved for only Group “C” posts."

The Staff Selection Commission will provide the SSC CGL application correction facility to the candidates after the last date of application fee submission. The candidates will be required to submit the application correction fee to make corrections in the registration and application details.

3. a person of Indian origin migrated from either/or Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
