UGC NET Application 2022 Extended

National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the official notice regarding the UGC NET application 2022 extension. As per the notice, the UGC NET online application 2022 has now been reopened from May 24 to 30, 2022. Candidates can apply online for the UGC NET December 2021 and June 2022 merged cycles up to 5.00 pm on May 30, 2022. Candidates can pay the UGC NET application fee 2022 up to 11.50 pm on May 30 itself.

The UGC NET application correction 2022 facility has also been extended by the NTA. The UGC NET application form correction 2022 will now be held from May 31 to June 1, 2022, up to 9.00 pm. Earlier, the UGC NET application correction 2022 began on May 21, 2022.

Candidates who have yet not applied for the UGC NET December 2021 and June 2022 cycles can apply online now and pay the UGC NET application fee. Earlier, the online application concluded on May 20, 2022.

UGC Chairman Statement regarding UGC NET application extension

Earlier, the University Grants Commission. UGC Chairman, Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar announced the extension of the last date of the online application process for the UGC NET 2022 exam till May 30, 2022. The tweet shared by the UGC Chairman stated, “In pursuant to representations from the candidates, regarding submission of online application form for UGC NET December 2021 and June 2022 (merged cycles), it has been decided to extend the last date for submission and fee payment to 30 May 2022.”

Candidates can fill the UGC NET application form 2022 by following the given steps:

• Visit the official website- ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
• Click on the link stating ‘Application form for UGC NET Dec 2021 & June 2022 cycles’.
• Click the ‘New Registration’.
• Enter the required details of the UGC NET registration form.
• Fill the application form.
• Upload the scanned passport size photo (10-200 kb) and signature (4-30 kb).
• Pay the application fee (INR 1,100 for General, INR 550 for General-EWS/OBC-NCL and INR 275 for SC/ST/PwD)
• Save and submit the form.
