The Uttar Pradesh Government had last year reduced the syllabus for the academic session 2020-21 by 30 per cent for Classes 9 to 12. The government had reduced the syllabus on the basis of the number of working days of school. Earlier, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has cut down 30 per cent of the syllabus as a one-time measure for the year 2020-21 for classes 9 to 12 considering the reduction in classroom teaching time due to coronavirus outbreak that leads to the closure of schools.
The syllabus reduced will also affect the UP Board Exams 2021. The government also clarified that no question will be asked in the UP 10th and UP 12th exams to be conducted in 2021 from the deducted syllabus. It is applicable to Class 9 and 11 too.
The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has released the UP Board Time Table 2021 for classes 10 and 12 on February 10, 2021. According to the Time Table 2021 for UP Board 10th, the examinations are scheduled from April 24 till May 10, while the Class 12 examinations will be held from April 24 till May 12, as per the timetable for UP Board 12th.
