Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is expected to release SBI Clerk notification 2022 anytime soon. According to media reports, the notification is expected to be released before August 10. The prelims exam is expected to be conducted in September. The notification will be released on the official website-sbi.co.in. SBI Clerk notification will be released to fill up the vacancies to the post of Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales). The application process will begin after the release of the notification. The details related to the exam dates and vacancies will be released along with the SBI Clerk notification 2022. Any graduate candidates between 20 and 28 years can apply for SBI Clerk 2022.

SBI Clerk application form fee is INR 750 for the General and OBC categories. However, SC/ ST/ PWD/ XS candidates are exempted from paying the application fees.

How to Apply Online for SBI Clerk 2022?

The steps to fill SBI Clerk application form are given below:

  • Visit the official website, sbi.co.in/web/careers/current-openings
  • Select the 'Click Here for New Registration' tab
  • Fill in details such as name, mobile number, email ID, etc
  • Registration number and password are generated
  • Upload the scanned images of the photograph and signature
  • Enter personal details, work experience, educational qualification, etc.
  • Preview the SBI Clerk application form 2022 and submit the details
  • Candidates need to pay the registration fees
  • Take a printout of the application form and e-receipt

How Many Attempts in SBI Clerk?

SBI does not imply any restrictions on the candidates for their number of attempts in SBI Clerk. Candidates between 20 and 28 years can apply for SBI Clerk 2022. The relaxation in upper age limit offered to unreserved categories is given below.

SBI Clerk Salary 2022

SBI Clerk recruitment 2022 comprises prelims and mains followed by Language Proficiency Test (LPT). SBI Clerk salary is INR 19,900 (INR 17,900 with two advance increments). The payscale is INR 17900-1000/3-20900-1230/3-24590-1490/4-30550-1730/7-42600-3270/1-45930-1990/1-47920. Besides, candidates are entitled to various perks and allowances.

SBI Clerk Exam Pattern 2022

The preliminary exam comprises three sections: English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability. The total marks allotted to the prelims exam are 100. The mains exam comprises four sections. The total marks allotted to the mains exam are 200.

SBI Clerk Selection Process

SBI Clerk selection process comprises objective-type tests-prelims and mains exam followed by Local Language Test (LPT). Candidates applying for the vacancies of a particular state should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) in the specified opted local language of that State/UT/Special area. The LPT is  conducted after qualifying the online main examination but before joining the Bank. Candidates who fail to qualify this test will not be offered appointment. 

SBI Clerk Vacancies 2022

SBI Clerk vacancies will be announced along with the SBI Clerk notification. SBI Clerk vacancy 2022 will be announced state-wise and category-wise. Candidates can apply in one state only against SBI Clerk vacancy. In 2021, more than 5000 vacancies were announced for Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales).  The number of vacancies announced for the General category was 2151, 488 for EWS, 726 for SC, 440 for ST and 1195 for OBC.
