In Reasoning section, candidates can score good marks with a balanced preparation. Here are a few tips on how to prepare for RBI Grade B Reasoning section. 

How to prepare for RBI Grade B Reasoning

The Reasoning can be the scoring section in RBI Grade B exam. To score good marks in this section, candidates need to prepare well. The section will consists of 60 questions, therefore, it becomes important to practice this section well. The test paper of Reasoning comprises questions mostly from Puzzles and Seating Arrangement, Besides, there will be questions from other topics such as Inequalities, Coding-Decoding, Blood Relations, Syllogism, etc. Here are few tips and tricks on how to prepare for RBI Grade B Reasoning section.

How to prepare for RBI Grade B Reasoning?

Know the weightage of topics & difficulty level: Candidates must know the weightage of each topic and their difficulty level of RBI Grade B. Given below is the weightage given to different topics:

Device topic-wise preparation strategy: Here are the few tips and tricks on how to prepare for each topic.

Syllogism: The easiest way to solve questions is through Venn-diagrams. Practice 5 questions every day to ensure 100% accuracy.

Blood Relation: Mainly, this section covers single-person blood relation questions, coded blood relation and multiple-person. Candidates must use diagrammatic representation to solve questions in Blood Relation.

Seating Arrangement: This constitutes a major chunk of Reasoning section. The only mantra to solve questions on seating arrangement is plan, study and practice. Candidates must try to understand the basics of Seating Arrangement.

Solve previous years’ question papers: Practising the previous years’ question papers will give candidates a fair idea about the pattern and variations from each topic. Solve at least 5 to 7 years of past papers. Tune your preparation according to the previous years’ question papers.

Solve Mock test regularly: The mock test will give you a feel of actual exam. Mock test will help in strengthening concepts. Secondly, it will help candidates to learn the time-management techniques. Thirdly, it will help in formulating strategy for the exam day. Candidates can plan and strategise if they have solved good amount of mock tests.

Formulate proper study plan

Candidates must revise well and give sectional mock test. Give two hours daily for Reasoning preparation. Go through the basics of each and every topic. Solve 50 questions daily and keep a tab on time taken to solve such questions and try to increase the speed with every attempt.
