RRB NTPC 2020 exam: Over 1.26 crore applications received

Over 1.26 crore applications were received for RRB NTPC 2020 exam against more than 35,000 vacancies. This had been informed by the Ministry of Railways in an official notice released recently.

RRB NTPC to be conducted by the Railway Recruitment Boards was delayed due to the coronavirus outbreak in the country. However, the Railway Ministry had stated that the recruitment process will start soon once the COVID-19 situation improves.

RRB NTPC exam dates 2020 are yet to be announced. Once the exam dates will be announced, candidates will be issued RRB NTPC admit card. Candidates can download the admit card by logging into their account. Meanwhile, the Railways are in the process of finalizing the exam conducting agency.

Taking into consideration the pandemic situation, RRBs will take measures at the exam centre to prevent the spread of disease. Railways will observe strict social distancing, ban crowding outside the exam centres, sanitization of exam centres after each shift and compulsory use of face masks.

The exam comprises first stage CBT, second stage CBT, Typing Skill Test/Computer Based Aptitude Test and Document Verification/Medical Examination.

The first stage of RRB NTPC comprises 100 objective type multiple choice questions. Total duration of the test is 90 minutes. Questions will be asked from General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence and Reasoning. Total marks of the test are 100. There is a negative marks for wrong answers.
