The UPSC 2021 notification for the IAS exam was released on March 4. The Union Public Service Commission provides a time frame of 21 days to fill the IAS Application online. The candidates can fill the IAS 2021 applications by today only. The candidates can fill the UPSC application online only and there is no other mode available for the candidates.
Preparation before filling IAS Application 2021.

The candidates need to do certain preparation such as scanning the photograph and signature in the prescribed size and format to instantly upload it at the time of filling in the IAS 2021 Application.

How to Apply for UPSC 2021 exam (IAS)?

The UPSC 2021 application window was activated on March 4. The last date to apply for the Civil Service Exam 2021 is March 24. The candidates can apply for the IAS 2021 in the following manner.

  • Visit the official website of UPSC- upsconline.nic.in
  • Click on the Exam Notifications tab.
  • Click on Apply Online link.
  • Click on the link available for Civil Services Part-I registration.
  • Read the application form instructions carefully and click on Yes.

The IAS Application 2021 has two parts. Part-I is for the registration and Part-II is for UPSC fee submission and uploading of the photo, signature and government photo-Id card.

IAS Application 2021- Registration

The candidates are required to fill in the personal details and the IAS main Exam details such as

Name Date of birth
Category Gender
Email ID Contact number
Permanent address Marital status
Parents' names Community
Educational qualification -

After this window, fill in the details about the Government Id Proof, number of Attempts in IAS exam and IAS Main exam details. After filling all the details and submitting the declaration given, the candidates will get the IAS Application form. The candidate can take a printout of the IAS Application form and Slip. After the completion of first part, a registration number will be generated by the system and will be sent to the candidate's mobile number and email id.

IAS Application 2021- Part-II

The candidate needs to log in with the registration number and date of birth for filling in the IAS application 2021 Part-II.

Step 1: Pay IAS application fee online (through SBI Net Banking/ debit card/ credit card) or offline (by cash through SBI bank challan) mode.

Fill in the choice of IAS Prelims 2021 exam centre and click on the next button.

Upload the Photograph, Signature and Government Id Proof. The candidate should note that this government id will be required at the IAS Prelims Exam Centre on the day of IAS prelims exam. Click on the IAS Application preview button and get a detail IAS Application 2021 in PDF format. Check all the details and submit the IAS Application 2021.
