AUCET 2020: Check AUCET eligibility criteria before applying

The Andhra University Common Entrance Test (AUCET), which is conducted by the Andhra University, will be conducted in the second week of May, 2020. However, before the application process commences, interested candidates are advised to check the AUCET 2020 eligibility criteria first before registering. The dates for AUCET 2020 are yet to be released, however, candidates can keep a tab on AUCET 2020 dates.

The eligibility criteria is different for each course offered by the Andhra University. Candidates who are found ineligible at any time of the admission process will not be allowed to further proceed. Candidates are required to meet the criteria as set by the university such as academic qualifications, age limits and various other aspects in order to apply for admission. The AUCET eligibility criteria are as follows:

AUCET 2019 exam for Science courses is mainly conducted for five papers:

  • Life Sciences
  • Physical Sciences
  • Mathematical Sciences
  • Chemical Sciences
  • Geology

Eligibility criteria for all the five papers (mentioned above) and different MSc courses offered through the entrance exam are mentioned in the table below:

BSc/BSc (Vocational) with any two of the following subjects: Botany, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Horticulture, Agriculture, Forestry, Genetics, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Seed Technology, Zoology, BSc (Vocational) with Food Science and Quality Control or 4 years BSc (Agriculture).

The cutoff marks depends on the students candidate category and the student should pass 12 grade with the 50 percentage at least to the general kota.for other special category they need 45 percent for the eligibility criteria.
