Department of Forensic Science was established in the year 2015 at Chandigarh University. Students who enrol for MSc Forensic Science will be able to learn the methods to investigate the crime scene and evidence using modern legal theories. Students will also have to undergo mandatory training in Government approved labs and will be exposed to the research-based and application-focused programme.

For admissions into MSc Forensic Science, the students should have completed their Bachelor’s degree n any branch of Science/Pharmacy. The course duration is 2 years.

Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar

Established in 2009, the Institute of Forensic Science & Criminology, Panjab University offers MSc Forensic Science to all eligible candidates. The course offers a theoretical and practical understanding of Forensic Science. The students will also be given the training to assess and understand crime scenes in-depth. The course has 22 seats available for admissions.
