Separate exams are conducted to offer admission to aspirants in different courses offered at GITAM Institute of Science. In each test of GSAT there are a total of 60 multiple choice questions.

Exceptions:
- Candidates seeking admission in BSc course at GITAM need to attempt Mathematicss, Physics and Chemistry sections in GSAT 2020.
- Candidates seeking admission in BEM programme and who have other than science optionals at Intermediate/+2 need to attempt questions from Environmental education section.
