The GITAM Institute of Science conducts GSAT (GITAM Science Admission Test) to offer admission to aspirants in UG and PG level science programmes offered by the Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management University in its three campuses i.e Visakhapatnam, Bengaluru and Hyderabad. The application forms for the GSAT 2020 are available online on the official website of the university. The GSAT exam will be conducted in the second week of May, 2020.
What is GSAT?
GSAT is conducted by the GITAM Institute of Science is a part of GITAM University and it offers many undergraduate as well as postgraduate programmes to aspirants. GSAT is a national level entrance exam which is conducted once a year. Candidates interested in applying for the entrance exam have to register and submit an application form in order to appear for the entrance exam.
GSAT Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants meet eligibility criteria for GITAM Science Admission Test for BCA course posses an educational qualification of Intermediate/ +2 or equivalent. Candidates who have appeared for or are appearing in their final examination in 2018 are also eligible to apply for GSAT.

GSAT 2020 Admission Process
Step 1: Register
The candidate will firstly have to register on the official website of GITAM in order to apply for GSAT 2020. The candidate will have to fill in the required details as mentioned below:

Step 2: Fill Application Form
On successfully registering, the candidate will receive a login ID and password on the registered email ID. The candidate can then log in and apply for GSAT. The aspirant has to fill in the required details and upload a passport size photograph as well. Once the details are filled, the candidate will have to pay the GSAT application fee which is to be paid online.

Step 3: GSAT Admit Card
Hall tickets for GSAT exam will be sent to aspirants by post one week prior to commencement of the exam. Aspirants can also download their GITAM Science Admission Test admit card from the official website of the university. Candidates need to ensure that they preserve and keep their hall ticket because it would be needed at the time of admission.

Step 4: Give GSAT exam
Candidates have to appear for the GSAT 2020 exam which will be held in the second week of May 2020. Aspirants are advised to check exam pattern, marking scheme and syllabus before appearing for the entrance exam. Candidates need to carry their admit card as without the GSAT hall ticket, candidates will not be allowed to sit for the exam.
Step 5: GSAT Result
The GSAT 2020 will be declared in the fourth week of May, 2020. Candidates can check the GSAT on the official website of the university once released. Aspirants who have appeared for the GSAT exam will have to login details to check the results. GSAT rank is allotted to aspirants basis marks scored by them in the exam. A merit list will be released by the university after the result has been declared.

Step 6: Counselling
Candidates who have passed GSAT will be invited to appear for the counselling round on the basis of the merit list released by the institute. For each course, a separate merit list will be prepared. Candidates will have to pay a counselling fee and will have to carry the required documents as well.
