TSEdCET Dates 2025: The exam conducting authority, Mahatma Gandhi University Nalgonda will release the TSEdCET 2025 notification and mentioned the exam dates in it. The notification of TSEdCET will consist of the registration dates, exam dates, result and counselling dates. Along with the notificaiton the exam body will also release the TSEdCET he application form. Candidates meeting the minimum eligibility criteria will be able to fill in the application form of TSEdCET 2025 from the official website - edcetadm.tsche.ac.in. Candidates qualifying in the exam will be shortlisted for the BEd Course provided by participating universities. Candidates can check the below space to learn about the entrance exam schedule and all important dates related to TS EdCET 2025 .

Q:   When will the TSEdCET application form be available?

A:

The TSEdCET application form will be made available from March 2025, to May 2025 (Tentatively). Candidates will be able to fill out the application form from its official website edcet.tsche.ac.in - Students are advised to regularly check the official website as well as shiksha.com for updates on the availability of the application form.

The admission process through the TSEdCET 2025 exam includes the following steps:

  • TS EdCET application form: For TSEdCET 2025 registrations, candidates can fill out the application form in online mode on the official website of the exam. The TSEdCET 2025 application fee of INR 750 for General/OBC candidates and INR 550 SC/ST candidates must also be paid online.  
  • TS EdCET admit card: Once application forms are filled and submitted successfully, candidates can download their TSEdCET 2025 admit card/ hall ticket from the official website of the exam. Candidates can download the admit card by entering their registration number and date of birth on the TSEdCET website.
  • TS EdCET exam: Next, candidates need to appear for the B.Ed entrance exam at the allotted TSEdCET 2025 exam centre. TSEdCET 2025 exam will contain multiple-choice questions of 150 marks that candidates need to complete in a duration of two hours.

  • TS EdCET resultTSEdCET 2025 result will be declared on the official website of the exam. A candidate scoring at least 25 per cent marks (that is, 38 marks) will qualify for the education common entrance test. However, for candidates belonging to SC/ ST category and women candidates appearing for Physical Sciences/ Mathematics methodology there are no minimum marks required to qualify for the exam, informs the official website.
  • TS EdCET rank card: A separate rank list will be prepared for each methodology wherein candidates will be ranked based on marks secured in the exam. Candidates can download their TSEdCET 2025 rank card from the official website of the exam.
  • TS EdCET counselling: Lastly, candidates need to appear for a web-based TSEdCET 2025 counselling session. Here, candidates will be allotted seats at the Colleges of Education in Telangana State in their respective methodologies according to their rank. 

Q:   Can I get a refund if I miss the TSEdCET exam?

A:

No, the examination fee once paid is non-refundable and non-transferable. Hence, it is advised to candidates that they ensure their availability before the examination and then only apply for it. It's crucial to mark the exam date on the calendar and make necessary arrangements to ensure that candidates don't miss the opportunity to appear in the TSEdCET exam.
