Overall experience in AIIMS Kalyani.

Placements: The placement thing doesn't exist in medical college. You have to do a mandatory internship of 1 year after passing the final year. In AIIMS, the stipend for the internship is 30k/month. Everyone gets a job after graduation. The average salary for a fresher ranges from 8-10 Lacs per annum. In central institutes or Delhi, it is 1.2 Lacs per month.

Good academics with great infrastructure.

Placements: 50% placement, as it is a medical college, so a compulsory internship is guaranteed. If someone doesn't get a job, it's their own choice as they opt for preparing for a PG seat. Otherwise, it's very easy to get a job as a junior doctor; if someone is a junior doctor in AIIMS, they earn a min pay of 1 lac. It varies in other state-run medical colleges; salaries of junior doctors in state-run government colleges are within 70000.

AIIMS Kalyani: The absolute heaven .

AIIMS Kalyani—a future powerhouse of medical education in the making

Placements: The college does not hold any placement programs like engineering colleges, but MBBS is such a field that, after passing out, you will never complain of unemployment. There are ample opportunities after MBBS; you can pursue an MD or MS, or you can join any medical college as a medical officer or non-academic JR and earn decent money. You can even practice in a private setting.

Best infrastructure and faculty members.

Placements: There are 125 students in my class. Every year, 125 students take admission to this college. All the students have to do a one-year compulsory internship after the MBBS for which they get a stipend too. After MBBS, one can work in a government / private hospital or pursue his / her further studies for PG, specials, or fellowships.

AIIMS Kalyani is the best in West Bengal.

Placements: So basically, our batch has a total of 125 students. Every year, through NEET, they are selected. Our course is for 5.5 years, including an internship. For the whole course, we have to give only INR 5856, which is like nothing as compared to those of state colleges.

Overall, our college is one of the best medical colleges one can study in.

Placements: 100% placements were offered to everyone who passed the 4th year and were posted for internships in the nearby CHCs. In the medical profession, there are very few people who remain without placements. There is already a scarcity of medical professionals, and studying from such a renowned institute gives you a guaranteed placement chance.
