Inside of AIIMS rishikesh .
Placements: The placements are not provided by the college itself. You need to appear for an entrance examination named "NORCET" to get a job in AIIMS as a nursing officer. However, the college provides a 6-month internship, for which they will also pay you around 13,000 or 14,000. The internship is for all the students in the last year of college in the same AIIMS where you are practicing.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of AIIMS Rishikesh is great. Classrooms are large with comfortable desks, and all the classes have AC facilities and Wi-Fi. Labs are also nice, equipped with great technologies. The library is huge, containing lots of books of your liking and course materials. Hostels are compulsory. Hostel rooms are quite large and well-furnished, with the facility of a lift. There is a mess inside the hostel which is pure vegetarian, and a common mess outside the hostel. The mess menu is decent but not up to the mark; I mean, what else can you expect from mess food?
Faculty: The faculty is nice and experienced, with a great way of teaching. They are really helpful and interactive, making you understand the concept thoroughly. However, to be one step ahead, you need to study on your own, of course. The course curriculum is, of course, relevant; it will surely help you in the future to develop knowledge and skills to get a great job with a high pay. The semester exams are held on time, and the difficulty level is moderate.
Other: The best thing about this course is that it will make you skillful to encounter future demands. I wish one thing would be improved: while practicing in the clinical area, there should be the availability of a clinical instructor. And the best thing about this college is surely its campus and events. There are lots of events, both intra- and inter-college, named "Invicta" and "Pyrexia," respectively. The crowd is huge. There are lots of committees run by students for sports and cultural events, so don’t worry about extracurricular activities.

The college of nursing AIIMS rishikesh review!
Placements: Basically, you take admission here, and the fourth year includes a 6-month internship where they provide a stipend of 14,500 for 6 months. Apart from that, you receive 500 rupees monthly throughout all the years for doing clinical postings. Students usually get placed in the private sector very easily, but for a government setup, you need to clear their NORCRT exam, or you can also go abroad. Top roles include nursing officers, clinical instructors, registered nurses abroad, or pursuing M.Sc. courses.
Infrastructure: Being an AIIMS, the facilities here are top-notch with fully furnished hostels and all types of sports complexes, including a gym. Hostel rooms are shared for the first three years, with single rooms for final-year students. They have a huge library with all academic and non-academic books. The nursing mess is in the nursing hostel, but you also have access to Nescafe and the common mess.
Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable and experienced. They teach everything in detail and never skip a topic; they are also very approachable for any questions. They instruct very well in both hospital areas and academic settings. The course curriculum is relevant, with hours and hours of clinical duties in the hospital along with theory and practical classes, which prepares students to face the world. There are two semesters and one final professional exam each year.
Other: The batch consists of 100 students who all came by clearing the AIIMS B.Sc. Nursing entrance exam, which is held once a year. The best thing about the course is that there is a lot of scope. The only thing they can improve is their hectic schedule of 8 AM to 5 PM, as it's a bit tough. They have two annual fests, Invicta and Pyrexia, along with various cultural events according to festivals. They also have various societies. The campus is surrounded by the beautiful Ganga and mountain ranges.

Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) - Batch of 2025

Best College in India is AIIMS.
Placements: AIIMS is well known for the best placements. In MBBS, 100% is the placement percentage. The highest package is 35 lakh per annum, and the lowest is 12 lakh per annum. Most of our students are doctors and some of them are placed in Health Care such as top Hospitals, and Researchers in companies.
Infrastructure: Our college provides hostel facilities. Infrastructure is shiny. Our department has facilities such as internet connection, and a library with vast number of books. The canteen’s food is good. Mess also provides good food. Many games can be played here.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful really and they are god like to us. They teach in many ways so that students can understand them. Each concept is important in MBBS. Our teachers are master minds and they have knowledge of all the concepts. They make us doctors with their experience. Semester exams are hard to pass.

Absolutely satisfied with AIIMS Rishikesh and its weather, campus and faculty members.
Placements: A total of 100 seats are available at AIIMS Rishikesh B.Sc. Nursing Hons College in each batch. When we complete this course, we will get placement in government or AIIMS college. Almost 80% of people get placements from AIIMS Rishikesh. After an internship, we can get M.Sc. course after completing B.Sc.
Infrastructure: In AIIMS Rishikesh, a B.Sc. nursing college, the campus is quite huge, as are our college and classrooms. We also have Wi-Fi facilities in hospital and colleges. We got various labs such as anatomy labs, central library, physiology lab, biochemistry lab, pathology lab, etc. According to the monthly mess, we get delicious food with desserts and we have canteen facilities in campus as well as in hospital. We have tennis court, badminton court cricket ground, football ground, table tennis, basketball, volleyball, gym and other facilities.
Faculty: We have the best professional tutors with high-quality knowledge, helping skills, and a kind nature. Yes, the curriculum prepares us to be the best nurses in the country. And we get exposure from the very first year. Exams are conducted in a very strict manner, with Moderate level of difficulty. And passing percentage is 50%.
Other: I am interested in medical field and this is one of the best courses that deals with lifesaving. It helps in personality building as we get to deal with different patients, their families and other health care professionals. We get a 500 stipend every month; that is less than the amount of work we do in clinicals and should be increased. There are two festivals conducted every year, which include Pyrexia, that is a cultural festival in which big stars are invited For example, last year, Darshan Raval came to perform at AIIMS Rishikesh. The second one is INVICTA, which is a sports festival. Extra extracurricular activities like poster making, wall painting, poetry debates, cultural events, community setting for role play and public education. AIIMS also provide a gateway to work with foreign healthcare professionals and work in other countries.

AIIMS Rishikesh: A hidden gem among AIIMS.
Placements: In MBBS, there are no placements; you do have to complete 1 and 1/2 years of internships to pass and you get paid a good amount compared to other colleges, especially private colleges. After MBBS, you can either take a PG exam and specialize further, get some jobs with just an MBBS degree or even try UPSC CMSE. A lot of options are there. You also have the opportunity to go to electives in India and abroad to gain more experience and get a really good CV. Some research electives pay you even if you have shown promise, which makes it easier to get a job in research institutes. According to my information, the average salary for top residence programs in India is around 7 lacs per year, and it is even higher if you live abroad.
Infrastructure: The AIIMS Campus consists of 3 diamond-shaped buildings connected to each other, with one more building being built at present. One of them is the college building, consisting of 6 floors, each with 2 to 3 departments and on the 5th floor, a surprisingly big library that is open 24/7, even on festivals so you can study at your own pace if you want. Each floor also has 1 lecture hall with enough ACs to keep you warm during the summer and heaters during the winter as the temperature in Rishikesh goes to the extreme. There is Wi-Fi available in the library, which is good, especially at night; otherwise, there is AIIMS Wi-Fi, which is pretty bad at most places. The hostel you receive in your first year is, honestly, bad. You are put in a room made for a single person but you live with a roommate, which doesn't sound that bad in the beginning, but during the summer you will hate it in your room and it will be pretty messed up unless you are a clean freak. But it does get better in the second year when you get your own washrooms and can attach an AC and, biggest of all, a big room, so yes, just suffer through the first year. The mess facility is unexpectedly good most of the time, with a menu that can be changed in a meeting every month with the hostel secretary.
Faculty: The faculty are one of the best, especially the first-year ones; they are so helpful in interacting with the excessive syllabus loads you get just after NEET since that syllabus is nothing compared to even anatomy. During dissection, the student-to-cadaver ratio is 10:1, with the ability to dissect three times a week at least. The faculty also promotes UG research, helping those students interested in it. The first-year course is roughly completed in 8 months, which sounds like less time, but trust me, you end up completing it because you are made to study with regular Viva every week and monthly exams but you don't need to always stress on them because they are just too difficult, especially in biochemistry.
Other: There are events happening regularly, roughly every 3 months, which doesn't spoil your studies too much if you manage well. The college fest is called Pyrexia and is the last, and since pyrexia didn't happen during the pandemic years, Pyrexia 2023, complete it all. There are also clubs that suit most people's interests, and if you find enough people who like your hobby, you could even make one.

AIIMS rishikesh, B.Sc. (h) nursing .
Placements: After graduation, one can become a nursing officer in several government hospitals by clearing an exam called NORCET and can also apply to any private hospital. Alternatively, you can opt for opportunities abroad and become a registered nurse, which is, personally, the best option.
Infrastructure: Overall, the infrastructure is quite good. Wi-Fi is available in the college and hospital but not in the hostel. The campus is quite huge with a lot of greenery, including facilities for a gym, tennis court, volleyball, basketball, and badminton courts. The library is also present inside the hospital area in the academic block.
Faculty: Teachers here are highly educated and helpful. They guide us in the clinical area as they are our clinical instructors as well. They are very considerate towards the students, and the exams are of moderate level, comprising written and practical exams.

You cannot get admission into MBBS course at any Medical College without clearing the NEET Entrance Exam. Even for admission in Private Medical Colleges you need atleast 150 marks out of 720 in NEET. However you can join MBBS directly if you go abroad.
