AIIMS Rishikesh - All India Institute of Medical Sciences lives up to its name.

Placements: Almost 100% of students post graduating were either accepted into senior residency or fellowships or other junior-level consultant positions with a maximum annual package of about 14 LPA. The postgraduates were placed in prestigious institutions like AIIMS Rishikesh itself, AIIMS Patna, MAMC Delhi, other medical colleges of Delhi, MGIMS Wardha, and the Arvind Eye Institutes Network in South India.

Infrastructure: The learning facilities and infrastructure here are at par with all institutes of national importance and one of the best in India. The department of ophthalmology is well-equipped. Hostels and the mess are neat and satisfactorily maintained with adequate food quality. There are facilities to play different outdoor and indoor games.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and helpful. The teaching quality brings you to a level of excellence at par with other institutes of national importance. The curriculum is relevant and includes additional workshops that ensure holistic training. The semester exams are easy to pass with a nearly 100% pass percentage.

Other: The college is located in Rishikesh near the scenic Ganga and the Shivalik Himalayas. AIIMS Rishikesh is one of the most beautiful medical college campuses in India, which lives up to its name of being a centre of excellence for medical training. The administration takes efforts to make the course more Student friendly. Annual fest Pyrexia is held in April each year, with several other events all around the year. Being AIIMS this place has students from all over India and even abroad, and the confluence of cultures is extraordinary. There are plenty of scenic spots around the campus where you can take short trips and evening walks.

Can I get admission to MBBS at AIIMS Rishikesh on the basis of 12th score?

You cannot get admission into MBBS course at any Medical College without clearing the NEET Entrance Exam. Even for admission in Private Medical Colleges you need atleast 150 marks out of 720 in NEET. However you can join MBBS directly if you go abroad.
