Faculty: All the teachers and professors at Allahabad University are well qualified, teaching in an easy-to-understand manner while imparting a lot of knowledge. The course curriculum is excellent, matching the needs of students and preparing them for their future. The semester exams range from easy to moderate in difficulty.

My Honest Review on Allahabad University, as a student studying there.
Placements: * Talking about B.Com from AU, A very few students gets placement, hardly around 1-5%. * The highest package one can get in B.Com is 8 LPA, average is 5 LPA and the lowest is 2 LPA. * Top recruiting companies here are wipro, TCS, Azim premji foundation and Deloitte. * There is no internship in our college, students get direct placement. * HR.
Infrastructure: * Infrastructure of our college is very good, there are separate libraries in every college and one huge central library which has all the facilities a student needs. * There are many hostels in our college, some are brilliant meanwhile some are average. Most of them are actually good, have big grounds beautiful rooms and a clean mess, etc. Facilities.
Faculty: * Teachers/professors are highly knowledgeable and talented, like most of them have amazing teaching skills. I have enjoyed studying by them. * To be honest, I don't like the course curriculum because I think it's outdated now. I mean it's 2024 and this course doesn't have anything practical for real world. They should include software like tally, MS office etc. * Exams are seriously difficult here and the marking scheme is the worst! Every year more 50% students face backlog and year back.
Other: * I chose this course because I was from commerce background in my school days, the best thing about this course is less risk of unemployment, after graduation you can find job of an accountant. * The things I want to be better is the syllabus, there should be more practical knowledge rather than only book knowledge. * There are very few fests in our college, major celebrated in our college are Freshers party and farewell, there aren't much fests. 0 extracurricular activities, but there are facilities for sports. A huge beautiful ground and equipments. Campus surroundings are also beautiful especially for Science and arts faculty. Commerce faculty is like a typical government school, not beautiful at all.

Don't take admission in Allahabad University.
Placements: The placements are the worst here. They don't give any opportunity to either sit in the interview or get placement opportunities. Neither does any company come, nor is there any placement cell. Only 40 to 50 students got placed, and most of them were off-campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is very good, and the hostel is also quite good with reasonable fees, though the food is not that great. The commerce faculty is situated separately from the science and arts faculty, and its infrastructure is not as good.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and have passed JRF, but they tend to be a bit lazy. The course is not relevant enough to make students industry-ready, and there are no semester exams, only annual exams, which are very tough. In the first year, almost 40-50% of students fail and have to repeat the year.

I recommend students to take admission to this college.
Placements: Placements are not provided in our course but MBA students get placed. Many Indian companies approach our college to recruit students with good salary packages. B.A. LL.B. is an integrated course that provides internships to students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Air-conditioners and Wi-Fi are not provided in classrooms and the library. Hostels provided for boys are not good due to lack of facilities but are good for girls. Mess food is not good and hygienic. Security is not provided in the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are well qualified but not supportive. The syllabus is not completed on time.
Other: I chose this course due to the reputation of this college. Fests and other activities are not organised in our college. Campus connectivity is not good. Scholarships are not provided.

If you want to pursue BCom with very low fees and good faculty, then you can definitely go for it.
Placements: So the course is BCom, and there's not much placement in this field as we all know. It’s very tough to get even 60% because the copy checking is very strict here, making it challenging to achieve both good marks and placement. There's hardly any placement.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is what we can call average, like every other college. Some seminar halls have AC facilities, but mostly, classes are non-AC. Regarding the women's hostel, the campus is huge with lots of plants and space; there’s also a basketball court and an open gym. The food in the mess is somewhat average.
Faculty: Professors are highly qualified, very knowledgeable, and generous. They are not rude and will help you if you are respectful towards them. It’s a central government university, and being a well-known and old university, the overall staff is very nice. I don’t think this course is very relevant; instead, some vocational courses might add more value to your life. Exams are very tough with no cheating allowed, and I have to work hard to pass; you will hardly get 60 percent.
Other: If you want to be a PhD holder, you can pursue this course as it is very affordable. The BCom fees are only around 3500 for the whole year, so anyone can pay for it. You also get many facilities for this price that you can't find in other universities.
