Absolutely satisfied with the faculty and college because admitting into BHU is the best.
Placements: 7-8 were placed this year out of 45 students. The average package for B.Com (Hons) FMM is 3-4 LPA. Internship is provided to all the students in the third year. Roles offered in our course are Chief Financial Officer at a higher level, but as a fresher, you might get placed as a Financial Manager or Accountant.
Infrastructure: The hostel is the best on campus, and the rooms are like hotel rooms with great facilities, such as a mess inside the hostel, water coolers, geysers, etc. Other facilities are also available on campus, like the canteen, health center, etc. The quality of food in the mess is good, but you should prefer the canteen over it.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and Ph.D. holders with great knowledge. The way of teaching is very good and does not follow the traditional method. The difficulty level in semester exams is moderate. The passing percentage is 40. If you get 6 marks in internal exams and 34 marks in semester exams, you will easily pass.
Other: I chose this course because it is B.Com with a specialization in Financial Market, which is rarely found in prestigious universities like BHU or DU. The only bad thing here is that it is isolated, but it is good for those who want to study only.

I am dissatisfied with the cash payment of fees.
Placements: 36% of students are placed in college, and the package offered is around 2-4 lacs, and all students have to do an internship as it is a compulsory part of our course, and everyone has to do it. Many students have done their internships at CA firms, and some have done them at companies like Tata and others.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available on the whole campus, and it is very fast, and the library is fully air-conditioned, and medical facilities are also available, and ambulance service is also present, and all games are also there like badminton, volleyball, etc. And the canteen and mess are good according to the price.
Faculty: Teachers are overall qualified and knowledgeable. Some of the teachers are having old-school knowledge and old styles of teaching, but overall it is good. Semester exams are in 6 months, and the passing percentage is almost 100 percent, and studying here makes you happy.
Other: I have chosen this course because it is overall good rather than doing plan B. Com and betterment can be made in the syllabus because it is outdated; the syllabus needs to be updated, and events and fests are also available.

I am satisfied with the college, facilities and infrastructure.
Placements: In my college, there are limited placement opportunities for my course. However, when available, they are lucrative, with packages ranging from approximately 150,000 to 200,000 per annum. Notable companies that actively recruit students from our program include accounting firms, KPMG, Amazon, Bajaj Finance, and others. Various roles are offered, such as account manager, human resource manager, assistant manager, finance manager, marketing manager, showcasing the diverse career paths available for our course graduates.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for our course at the college is average. We have Wi-Fi facilities, well-maintained classrooms, and a library, although the availability of books specific to our course is limited. The hostel facilities are also average, but there is commendable security for female students. The mess provides better-quality food compared to other hostels. The college's health center offers average medical facilities. Additionally, the college actively organizes sports and games, with students participating at the state level, highlighting the commitment to promoting extracurricular activities.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful. They are qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good. This course is curriculum relevant. It does make the students industry ready. Semester exams are averagely difficult in this college. 40% minimum marks are required to pass in the exams.
Other: Fests and events are organised every year. A number of students participate in them. Our college is located in outer side, so the connectivity from outside is less. From my college, scholarship facility is provided on a regular basis. The college also gives chance to participate in extracurricular activities.

The campus is good, and faculty members are good. I am satisfied.
Placements: There is no placement for all students, but more than 50% of students are placed every year. The highest CTC goes up to 4 to 5 LPA, and there is no minimum criteria. Top recruiters include SBI Life Insurance, IDBI Bank, ICICI Bank, DHL, L&T Financial Services, etc. No student is getting an internship from the college; we are required to find it ourselves.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good and also in the developing phase. This campus is fully connected with Wi-Fi and secured by special forces from the BHU Proctor Office. Classrooms are good but not the best; they need some development. There is also a library, but not all required books are available. However, there is a cyber library with air conditioning. There are lots of hostels for boys and girls, with more than 98% of students living in hostels. The quality of food in the mess is better than in other government colleges.
Faculty: I give a 5-star rating for the curriculum and faculty. All faculty members are well-experienced and scholars in their own fields. All students are required to maintain 75% attendance, and classes are conducted daily. Exams are conducted strictly, with no possibility of any cheating.
Other: The best thing about this campus is that it is fully Wi-Fi connected and secured, but the campus is still in the developing phase.

This is a nice college; you can consider admission.
Placements: Placement are done according to the eligibility of students in their overall academics. Packages go from 30,000 to 60,000. Mostly hospitals that require well-trained lab technicians come for the placement. All students get internships—100 percent internships in various hospitals. As lab technicians, we serve patients in hospitals by taking their blood samples, testing them, creating reports, and giving them to doctors for further treatment procedures.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college building is very well manufactured. Each lab consists of properly working equipment. Our college lab is well-equipped and consists of all types of equipment. The classrooms are well-ventilated, and the chairs and tables are very comfortable. The classrooms have Wi-Fi facilities, and our college has a library with free service; we don't pay any charges or extra fees for the library. The hostel is very clean and good. Rooms consist of cupboards, tables, and chairs. Clean washrooms and the mess food are also tasty and hygienic. There is a canteen inside the hostel, and the hostel fee is minimal so that every student can afford it. There are also medical facilities; the campus has a self-health care center that provides free service. There are lots of sports and games too, at the state level competition.
Faculty: The teachers and professors who teach us are very helpful and friendly. They teach us with full attention and provide clarity regarding the subjects. The course curriculum is relevant and makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams are not tough; only those topics taught by the teachers come in the exam. Most students pass the examinations.
Other: I personally chose this course because I want to make my career in the medical field. The course is completely satisfactory. The college can introduce some new equipment to improve the course. There are many events celebrated on campus, like Odisha fest, fresher parties, farewell parties, fashion shows, etc. Yes, we get scholarships.

It's never about the college; it's all about how you think of it and how you see yourself.
Placements: First, RGSC doesn't have its own placement cell. If you want a placement, you have to work for it on your own, reaching out to companies and building your skill set to get the best placement. The college provides internship opportunities, but you have to be a good communicator and maintain a decent CGPA.
Infrastructure: I was lucky this year to be allotted a hostel (Kailash Hostel) that is newly built, pretty good, comfy, and decently modern compared to other hostels at RGSC. You also get full campus Wi-Fi, but the problem is that it often requires a login.
Faculty: The teachers are very good, helpful, and knowledgeable. They teach in a smooth and understandable manner. Based on my knowledge, the semester exams are not so difficult. I've asked my seniors, and they told me that if you study one week before the exams, you can score a decent CGPA. However, I recommend studying daily for at least an hour to maintain discipline.
Other: If you are someone who wishes for city lights, don't ever think of coming to RGSC, as this campus is somewhat lost in the mountains, away from the city crowd. But if you're preparing for exams or want a peaceful life, RGSC could be a great choice for you.

Effectiveness of Placement Cell for B.Com Courses at Rajiv Gandhi South Campus

Unfortunately, based on the student reviews and testimonials, it appears that the placement cell for B.Com courses at Rajiv Gandhi South Campus is not very effective.

Here's what students have reported:

* "We don't have an official placement cell." (Source: Student review)
* "Some students got placed in Byju's and Ola at an average salary of 4 LPA" (Source: Student review), indicating that placements are largely dependent on individual efforts and teacher guidance.
* "Teachers guide us for internships, but we need to apply for internships through ourselves. the organisation won't provide any direct internship." (Source: Student review)

It seems that while the college may not have an official placement cell, students have managed to secure jobs through their own efforts and guidance from teachers. However, this approach may not be sustainable or consistent in providing adequate placement opportunities for all students.
