Alliance University offers various scholarships to meritorious students to support their education. Various scholarships are provided to students such as Merit-based Scholarships, Category-based Scholarships, Alumni Scholarships, and Employee Scholarships. Students who wish to enroll in any course at Alliance University will have to score a good percentage as a part of the selection process. Apart from this, students should also meet other criteria that Alliance University has chosen to avail of the scholarship. Alliance University will provide a concession in fees based on marks scored in the qualifying exams.
Alliance University Scholarship Types and Criteria 2024-25
Given below are the types of scholarships offered at Alliance University:
1. Merit-based Scholarships
These scholarships are offered to support outstanding students who have demonstrated exceptional academic performance, talent, or other achievements. By recognising and rewarding excellence, merit-based scholarships motivate students to work harder, achieve more, and pursue their goals with greater determination.
2. Category-based Scholarships
Differently Abled:
Applicable as per the provisions of the RPwD Act, 2016 to all the categories of disabilities identified. A student with a 40% permanent disability of the mentioned categories and with a Unique Disability ID from the Government of India will be considered for the scholarship.
Defense and Paramilitary Quota:
Serving personnel; ex-servicemen; retired personnel and deceased personnel or their dependents from Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Air Force, Coast Guard, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Border Security Force (BSF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Railway Protection Force (RPF), National Security Guards (NSG), Special Frontier Force (SFF), Assam Riffles, Border Road Organization / General Reserve Engineer Force (GREF), Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO), Military Engineers Service (MES) and Defense Security Corps (DSC).
Sports International Level:
A player who has represented India in any International Sports Competitions approved by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports/ SAI/ IOA/ FISU/ National Federation of Concerned Games approved by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports/ Association of Indian Universities/ School Games Federation of India. The student must obtain a certificate from the concerned authorities of the sport. The candidate should have participated and won in the International level sports/ games conducted by the competent authority.
Sports National Level:
A student who has represented the state in any competition conducted between the last two consecutive calendar years at the national level in Individual/ Teams approved by the Ministry of Sports/ Sports Federation/ AIU. The student must obtain a certificate from the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports/ National Federation/ Board of concerned games only. The candidate should have participated and won in the National level sports/ games conducted by the competent authority.
Domicile:
The student should have studied and passed in one or more Government / Government recognised educational institutions located in the State of Karnataka for a minimum period of SEVEN academic years commencing from 1st standard to 2nd PUC / 12th standard as on 1st July of the year in which the candidate is seeking admissions to and must have appeared and passed either SSLC / 10th standard or 2nd PUC / 12th standard examination from Karnataka State. In the case of the candidate who has taken more than one year to pass a class or standard, the year of academic study is counted as one year only.
3. Alumni Scholarships
In gratitude for being a part of the Alliance Alumni family and for the development and extension of our learning community, Alliance University provides scholarships to its alumni, their spouses, children, and siblings specifically for tuition fees only, allowing them to focus on achieving their academic and professional goals.
4. Employee Scholarships
In gratitude and appreciation to our employees at Alliance University for their service, Alliance University is pleased to offer a scholarship facility for our employees to the doctoral as well as executive programmes offered at Alliance University. This scholarship also extends to the children of Alliance employees who are in service and provides financial assistance specifically for tuition fees, making higher education more accessible and affordable for our employees’ families.
