A good campus with great college life.

Placements: The university provides good placement in some courses while in some others, it does not. The pay scale during the placements does not compile to the pay scale promised while admission. The university also provides internships, but as compared to the placements, providing of internships is at a higher level.

The detailed review of Amity University Lucknow.

Placements: The placement rate hovers around 45-50%. The average stands around 4 LPA. Many reputed companies visit us, but companies prefer taking students from Noida campus as compared to Lucknow campus. Due to fewer opportunities in Lucknow (Tier 2 city), people tend to opt for higher studies. The campus resource centre of our university looks after all this. Rest depends on student's ability, as there are instances of people getting jobs that offer them jobs of more than 10 LPA. The conclusion is that on...

Brief review of the Amity University, Lucknow campus.

Placements: The placement drive is pretty good, and many of the MNCs come to the college. In the senior batch pretty much everyone got placed, but in our batch, there are only about 25% who got placed. The less number may be due to the lack of knowledge in our batch. But the college always tries to place the unplaced students.

I am satisfied with this college because of its faculty and the infrastructure.

Placements: The placements are not good. Hardly, a few companies came up for the recruitment, and those who were selected didn't even get a good package from the companies as no big company came up for the recruitment. A similar situation happened with the internships. Hardly 3 companies came. Mostly, every student got their internship from there own sources.

Poor placements and good infrastructure.

Placements: The placements are only for MBA and hotel management courses. A few of the students get placement, but the condition is to maintain good score throughout the course and self-prepare for interviews. The salary offered is also not too high as compared to the amount charged for the respective courses. There is an entrepreneur cell which promoted the students to come up with new innovative ideas and set up their own business.

Good placements and infrastructure in the college.

Placements: The placements were good for B.tech, computer science students, and it was not that good for other branches. the placement office was active and helped all the students to their full potential. In computer science department, around 60% of the students were placed. The companies came to the campus were MNCs, and some very good startups. The salary offered was best in the market.

Good infrastructure & facilities are provided to the students.

Placements: If we talk about the placements in Amity Lucknow campus, this year very fewer students got placed. Companies like Wipro, Tech Mahindra, HCL visited this year. Mostly the companies are IT sector based. The placements are done in Noida campus. So the students of Lucknow campus visit Noida campus for the placements. The average salary package is 3.5-4 lakh per annum. The highest amount of stipend are given to Noida campus students.

Really good facilities and infrastructure with very helpful faculty.

Placements: The companies come here are mostly it based and none of the core companies come for placements of electronics engineers. The mass recruiters from the information technology field come to this university and some of the students get good packages too, but you need to have an extraordinary CV for that.

Really good facilities, exposure and infrastructure but disappointed with placement.

Placements: The placements at Amity Lucknow are very moderate. Hardly any company comes to recruit for BCA. Majority of the placements happen in Noida. There is no room for internships on the campus. The package range is from 2 lpa to 3 lpa and the roles offered were purely from support background. That does not help any fresher to grow in their career.

Amazing university with good environment and all the facilities.

Placements: I was placed in one of the most renowned pharmaceutical companies Abbott India Limited. Although the package was not good enough. But that is because the packages of pharmacy are not good anywhere. But in other branches like engineering, the placement is really good.

The college has a positive environment and encourages students for their studies.

Placements: Placements that are provided by the college are pretty good. The college put efforts to make all students selected, any extra co-curricular or courses conducted adds to a student's CV. If the student is competent, then they get through flying colours.

Review of Amity University Lucknow Campus- B.Tech(CSE).

Placements: Placements for all Amity campuses in India are held at the Noida campus. A hostel is provided for the residents. Amity displays a good placement record with about 3 lacs PA offered. Amity claims to have 100% placements, though it is actually about 70-80% which is quite high too. There is a mass recruitment by Wipro and lots of other companies visit in the placement session.

Excellent infrastructure and a really marvellous campus.

Placements: Placements were not good in 2014. Jobs were mainly for IT and CS. Companies were either BPOs or KPOs like IBM which visited that year but the profile was extremely not good. Civil and mechanical engineering students were starving for a single offer. They use to send students sometimes to the Noida campus but there also, only Noida students get preferences everywhere.

Satisfied with the infrastructure and studies of the college.

Placements: About 90% of students were placed in Amity University. The highest package of this campus is around Rs 8 lakh and the lowest package is around 2.5 lakh. Generally, students with a CGPA above 8.5 are placed on higher packages and the skills are important too. Many well-known companies like Wipro, Infosys etc. arrive at the college for placements.

Amity- a good place to study.

Placements: Amity provides good placement opportunities. I got on campus placement this year through Amity University. If you are an average student and from computer science course, I could assure you that you will get placed. About 90% of my batchmates are placed. The highest package was 6 lakh per annum and lowest 3 lakh.

Satisfied with what it gave me.

Placements: Placements were average. Knowledge is needed but luck should also be there. In my electronics batch, around 40% students were placed. Companies don't visit Lucknow campus. Lucknow campus students have to go to Amity Noida campus for placements. Noida students are preferred over Lucknow, reason being we go to Noida for placements and so we are the ones struggling against Noida students.

Luxurious life at the college.

Placements: Placement services are average. Very few core companies come to the campus. The major placement drive is in Noida. People from all AmitycColleges are allowed there. They do follow up if you are placed or not but no major help. Percentage of students being placed were few. But due to quality education, maximum of our team mates are placed.

Great infrastructure, amazing placements but a lot of hard work from students.

Placements: The campus placements were good in Amity-Lucknow. Almost 80-90% of the students who appeared for the placements were placed in companies but majorly the criteria is CGPA> 6.5. There were many good MNCs like Wipro Technologies, Genpact-Headstrong, Capegemini and startups like PayU Money, Think and Learn, etc. Mainly, the roles offered were technical roles for freshers like Associate SE or Project Engineer. Some companies also offered management roles like Think and Learn. The maximum package offe...

Why to study at Amity University, Lucknow?

Placements: Amity university is known for its good placements. I'm currently in the 3rd year and I have seen my seniors bag a package of 3 lakh. The CRC department has a lot of companies coming in every year. Plus, the faculty members are also well connected to industries and they refer deserving students. Getting a job after your course, at least in Pharmacy, is not a problem.

Poor placements, great infrastructure, lack of practical exposure.

Placements: Placements for students of civil branch are very less as most of the students don't meet the minimum criteria only. The ones who meet the minimum criteria do get offers but 60% of these offers are from IT companies where the knowledge you gained in 4 years is of no use. Only a few best students of the batch are able to get into core companies, and this count tends to go as 3-4 per year.
