Poor placements, great infrastructure, lack of practical exposure.

Placements: Placements for students of civil branch are very less as most of the students don't meet the minimum criteria only. The ones who meet the minimum criteria do get offers but 60% of these offers are from IT companies where the knowledge you gained in 4 years is of no use. Only a few best students of the batch are able to get into core companies, and this count tends to go as 3-4 per year.

Amity University: My best days.

Placements: According to the record on papers, out of all the eligible students around 80% of the pupils got placed in a company. The most important thing to know here is that most of these companies are IT companies who are hiring students for working on the projects of computer languages like JAVA, PL/SQL, or even testing, so we can say that it won’t be any way related to what you have done in last 4 years.

Amity Lucknow- Overall, a good experience.

Placements: Placements are not very good specifically for MCA. Only 10% students were placed from my batch and same for the my senior batch also. Placements for the other courses like B.Tech was good especially for CS or it students. All the big MNCs are there like Accenture, Wipro, Headstrong, etc. Average package was 3.5 lakhs.

Campus is good and enjoyable learning experience.

Placements: Placement from Lucknow campus is low in BCom (Hons) but in some courses, there are good placements. Finding internship is easy. Amity gives some industry visit to the batches. Faculty helps in finding internships for the students after the course is over.

Memories Of Amity Lucknow (2011-2015).

Placements: The college arranges for the placement drives but please be aware that hardly any companies are going to come to the Lucknow Campus. For placement drives you will have to go to the Noida campus where you will be eligible for companies who have a lot of requirement (basically mass recruiters). For these frequent visits to Noida campus, you will have to arrange for your travel and bear all the travel expense. Accommodation will be provided by the college and food needs to be arranged by yourself. ...

Excellent infrastructure but needs advanced teaching methods and indsutry exposure

Placements: The placement is fine for the CS/IT/ECE streams but is shady in the mechanical and civil streams. The highest salary offered was 8.5 lacs, the lowest was 1.5 lacs and the average was nearly 3 lacs. Some renowned companies visited the campus like Wipro, Accenture, Hyundai, Premium Transmission, Think & Learn, PayUmoney etc. There were nearly more than 120 companies which visited the campus. Most of the roles offered were Developers, production, manufacturing, Software Engineer, and Graduate Sales...

If you are looking for something out of the box this should not be your choice but if you are just concerned about the course you want to do then this is the best option for you. This college has a nice campus and the facilities are also good. The crowd is very decent and teachers do have a deep knowledge of their subjects. The attendance is very strictly taken and the campus rules are very strict. The hostels are well-maintained and security is also well-maintained.

Overall, it is a good college. The faculty is supportive and always motivates us. This college gives many opportunities in every field like games, cultural activities, studies, etc. This is a brand that gives exposure too. Everyone over here is very supportive and very simple and they intract with each others without being judgemental.

In terms of study, it’s good. But if you are looking for campus placement then there is no big opportunity and neither college is dedicated to assist for the same. If you want to grab a good opportunity then you have to find yourself. University is not very much interested in this respect. If you want a big brand to add in your educational qualifications, then Amity could be a best campus to study and so of a higher standard.

The campus provides an awesome range of facilities and infrastructure for sports and fitness, on par with the best in the world. The classrooms are very comfortable. The teachers are quite dedicated. A weightage of 30% was given to internal exams and 70% to external exams. Amity proved to be a rather learning experience, not only academically but also in developing overall personality of its students. 3 years of graduation definitely were a reality check for what exactly life is. Amity didn't only provide a degree at the end of every session but also help students with a lot of real life learning experiences.

Amity University is one of the best private Universities with best facilities like AC campus, good faculty, average package placements, good infrastructure but semester fees is too high.
