Placements: The placements in Amity University Mumbai are not good, there are no placements for B.Sc. Clinical psychology students but there are placements for the masters course. The highest package was of 29 LPA and the average package was 5 LPA. Most of the companies who recruit the students are startups. The major companies are Shopper Stop, and Lo'real.
Placements: Placements in our college are not good. The top recruiting companies in our course are mainly small firms based in New Mumbai. The highest salary package offered before the pandemic was 15 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 6 LPA. The top role offered to our alumni was associate engineer.
Placements: The placement record of our college is average. Students who score well and perform excellently in academics get placements easily. We have to score above an 8 CGPA to get into good companies. The average package in our course is 6 LPA, and the highest was 25 LPA. Many MNCs also recruit from our campus.
Placements: Companies like Airbus and Interglobe Aviation recruit from our college with an average package of 6 LPA. Last year, the highest package was 14 LPA in an MNC. Internships are not provided by the college; students have to find them on their own. Thirty-five percent of students were placed last year from our course.
Placements: They only charge high fees on all courses but they don't provide good placements and internships. Companies recruit very few students, and they also don't offer good salaries. The average package is 4 LPA in our course. Last year, the placement rate was only 30 percent in our course.
Placements: The university is not at fault here. In the industry of Psychology, you need a minimum of Masters to work and expect placements. Thus there are no provisions for placements after Bachelors. Although a lot can be done in this sector of trying to make students more employable, at university level a lot can be done to promote financial responsibility.
Placements: No placement opportunities are provided here, but that is the nature of this course. Also, you have to look for internships on your own since you have to complete an internship during the vacations. You'll get some practical knowledge after you do internships at a good place. So start searching for good places way before they ask you to.
Placements: Most of the students pursue higher education, but the CRC department of Amity University Mumbai (AUM) provides the forms for placements. As per the requirement, companies approach AUM and students, on the basis of their skills, get selected. The type of placement could be an internship or a job. Companies such as Kotak approach AUM for HR trainee posts. The stipend can depend on the level of experience and knowledge of the individual as well as their position in the company. The choice of gettin...
Placements: Very few students were given placement as the placement cell did not have a lot to offer to the clinical psychology students. Therefore very few students opted for placement from my batch. Out of those who applied 90 percent got placed. The highest package for the job of a counsellor was 3.5 lakh. But as mentioned earlier, the placement was not in clinical settings. This is a valid point as if u want to work in a clinical setting as a clinical psychologist you need an M.Phil degree. Since no hos...
Placements: Almost 90% of the students in our course got placed. The highest salary package offered in our course is 15 LPA. The average salary package offered is 8 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 7.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Amazon, D. E. Shaw and ITC visit our campus for placements. Top roles, like an analyst, relationship manager and customer service associate, are offered to the students. Almost 90% of the students got an internship in companies like Amazon, IBM, and D. E. Shaw.
Placements: The placement cell of the college is not much helpful because they do not consider the preferences of students. The placement team does not understand the students' criteria, and the companies visiting the college for placements are not up to the mark or as promised. The college needs to improve its placements.
Placements: Placements in the college are good. Many Indian companies have visited the campus and offered roles of accountants, financial record keeper, factory accounts supervisor, etc. to students. Companies like textile companies, agricultural companies, waste recycling companies, oil companies, etc. visited the campus for recruiting students through college placements.
Placements: The placement cell does its job well, and a lot of my seniors got placed. The internships are good and are given in reputable companies. It is not Google and Microsoft type placements, and it is more like Red Chillies, and Viacom 18 type. We even have a WhatsApp group solely dedicated to it.
1. Don't expect much from the faculty as most of the faculty members are dumb. They may even teach you the wrong concepts. 2. Some teachers are truly adorable but you should be lucky enough to be able to get them. 3. The placement and the internship status is dead. There is no scope of placements. 4. Infrastructure is amazing. 5. The higher authorities are adamant. 6. The timings and the rules are strict. It feels more like a prison. 7. The college doesn’t foster creativity. There is no freedom...
Placements: Even students who scored 60 percent in their board exams were admitted. All Amity wants is for you to pay your feels on time, with deadline and penalty feels of up to 10,000 INR. They don't require entrance exams, and the admission process is open for a long time to enroll more students. There are 140 students in the BCA programme. Amity Mumbai has topped offering internships for BCA students and is now directly providing job placements.
Placements: Getting a placement on the campus grounds is next to impossible. There is a lot of bragging about securing the best placements in top companies by the consultants at the time of joining your course, but there's no matching of your expectations for a stable internship even provided by the college.
