Dissatisfied with the college because of low placement rate. Not the value of money. Over hyped.
Placements: There is no placement for this course. They often provide placements to architecture students only. Companies that visit are also architectural firms. Even students have to find internships on their own. As such there is no such role offered in this course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and food facilities are really good. The food in the mess is tasty and at cheaper prices. There is one clinic in the campus itself. Playgrounds and swimming pool are also available. The classrooms are cleaned. There is one central library offering thousand of books.
Faculty: The faculty members are well educated, helpful and kind. They are knowledgeable and the teaching quality is really good. The syllabus is according to the latest curriculum. Even exams are held on regular intervals. The semester exams are moderate difficult.
Other: I had chosen this course because of my personal interest in this particular field. But in college I have realised that people are not really aware of this course. Although it is a really good course. The number of students are also very less. I am in third year and there are only 2 students in my class. Apart from this the college organize regular fests and cultural activities.

    The university has world-class facilities.
Placements: Roles like a town planner and planning manager are offered to the students. Graduates also got a placement in government departments like ITPI, IIPA, etc. After graduating, you may also try to have field experiences like working as an intern or a job as a planner in different planning departments.
Infrastructure: The quality of the food served in a mess is above average. We also get various food outlets like Domino's and Subway, which serve vegetarian food only. University has 3-4 messes in different blocks inside the university. It has fun activities rooms.
Faculty: Semester exams are directly related to what teachers taught in class, and the teachers are quite supportive. The pass percentage is 85%. In semester exams, if you do not know the direct answer to the questions and the answer that you wrote is quite related to the topic, then you will get the marks for that question.
Other: It conducts a fresher's party and a university youth fest in which the whole campus comes together and enjoys.

Amity University has a good infrastructure, but the fees they charge are very high.
Placements: The college does nothing when it comes to the placement. They just took the fee, and all we can do is attend class. Our college is not teaching us how to face the professional world. They're just giving us more problems instead of proper education.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The classrooms, Wi-Fi facility, food everything is very good. The central library consists of thousands of book. AC campus and the playground is very good in the college. The college is very good at giving extra circular activities. So I give 9/10 for the college infrastructure.
Faculty: The faculty is not up to the mark. They're not teaching us they're just passing the time. The faculty is educated, but due to the college limits, they're like bound with many things. They can do much better, and the course curriculum is also not up to the mark. It should get revised again and again and update it every semester.

I am satisfied with the course taught. Placements should be improved.
Placements: Amity does not provide placements for B.planning course. You require specialisation after graduating, and students opt for masters. Few of them have got off-campus placements in consultancy firm like Jacobs, Efkons. Some of them have started their consultancy firm. The average salary offered to an undergraduate student of Amity in B.planning is Rs. 30,000 per month as a transport planning professional.
Infrastructure: Amity is known for its infrastructure. As a student, we have access to a huge library and computer lab for our work related to software such as Autocad and GIS. The campus also has facilities such as a bowling alley and gaming centre. There is also an amazing sports complex for recreational purpose.
Faculty: Faculty members for the course of B.planning are very helpful and knowledgeable and easily approachable. The course curriculum needs improvement as the order of the subjects could have changed. For example, the studio for site planning is done in the second semester, but the theory for it is taught in the sixth semester. The order should be improved.
