Amity University PhD Admission 2024
PhD programme is offered in over 94 specialisations in full-time and part-time modes. The minimum duration of full-time PhD is three years, and the same for part-time PhD is four-and-a-half years. The maximum duration of both PhD programmes is six years each.
The University conducts PhD admissions twice a year - January and July. Amity University conducts a PhD Entrance Test (PET) for PhD admission. Apart from PET, the University also accepts UGC NET/ CSIR/ ICAR (ASRB)/ GPAT/ ICMR/ GATE scores. The final selection of students is based on the entrance exam scores, followed by a computer-based test (CBT) and PI. Below mentioned are the names of all the specialisations offered under full-time and part-time PhD programmes along with the eligibility criteria:

It is a very good college.
Placements: Around 80% of students got placed in our course. The lowest salary package offered was 1.5 LPA and the highest salary package offered was 5 LPA. Some top recruiting companies were Reliance and Tata. Around 65% of students got placed in top MNCs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was the best with a high-speed Wi-Fi connection. Classrooms were very large and clean. They had projectors and central air-conditioners. The library contained all types of books related to the course. The hostel was very neat and clean. The food served in the hostel was very delicious and served all kinds of food items.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were very helpful and kind. They cleared all doubts of students whenever needed. The course curriculum was very much relevant and made students industry-ready. Semester exams were very easy if students studied in the classroom.
Other: I chose this course because it was my childhood dream and this course was very easy and helpful. New technologies should be provided in our course. Annual functions, teachers' day, annual sports, freshers welcome, etc., were organised in our college.

I am highly satisfied with the college infrastructure, faculty members, and campus.
Placements: Almost 80% of students are generally placed after Ph.D. in English. The salary package offered varies from the highest being 24 LPA. and the lowest salary package offered was 10 LPA. In Ph.D. English, no companies but institutions hire after getting a degree. Amity University itself hires the majority of students even while the course is going on which is a good part.
Infrastructure: The hostel is great and the students usually get individual rooms in the hostel. The infrastructure of the classrooms is also too good. The projectors and whiteboards are always used. The entire campus is Wi-Fi equipped. The library stands right in the middle of the campus and is holding great books.
Faculty: The course curriculum, as well as, the faculty members are too good. They are always available for personal interaction which encourages student growth. The semester exams aren't easy. There's a minimum attendance criteria too which has to be maintained by students. Generally, 95% of the students pass semester exams.
Other: There's hardly anything to complain about the college. Though Amity University isn't considered a good brand name, but only students studying here know the real positive picture of the place.
