Faculty and placement are good in college.

Placements: Our batch had a 90% placement rate, with the highest package being 45 lakhs from Amazon. In the 4th or 5th semester, the college arranged internships for us. Many companies, including Infosys, TCS, and Amazon, came to the college for recruitment.

Infrastructure: Amity University has good infrastructure and a good environment. All the facilities are available, including Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library that is open 24/7. The food provided in the canteen is good, and medical facilities are available for students. Additionally, the university provides sports and games facilities.

Faculty: The teachers are fully qualified and very helpful. The semester exams are not too difficult. Our teacher will give us a set of questions that are similar to what will be on the exam. If we study those questions, we should be able to pass the exam. The passing percentage is 33 percent, and we need a GPA of at least 5 to move on to the next semester.

Other: I am a student at Amity University, Ranchi. I am majoring in Computer Science and Engineering. I chose this major because I want to be a software engineer at a good company. Our college has a very large event called "Mitti Ka Poria."

Timing is not good but everything else is nice.

Placements: In Amity University Ranchi, from BCA, above 60% of students get placed with a good package, where in 2023 a BCA student had the highest package of 44 LPA, but in 2024 they haven't told us what the highest package is, but 30+ out of 60 students got placed, and many of them have gone for further studies like MCA or MBA. There are many companies which came to provide on-campus placement, which are Amazon, TCS, Wipro, Yandex, etc.

Infrastructure: Facilities which are provided by Amity University Ranchi are really worthwhile according to the fees, which are like fast Wi-Fi in the whole campus, well-updated labs for all departments, smart classes with projectors in every single class, and a fully air-conditioned campus with a library with skillful books and research papers.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and educated to teach us, and they have industrial experience too, so that they teach us accordingly. Course curriculums are relevant to the current time, like they teach us with real-time example case studies and skillful subjects. Semester exams are a little bit harder, but an average student can get good marks by studying 1 week before the exam.

Amity University Ranchi - Good or bad.

Placements: Here placements are very good. The average salary package offered is around 5 LPA - 6 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 46 LPA. Many brands came here for selection like Amazon. Proper training is given to students who opt for placements like an interview session.

Infrastructure: There are facilities available such as Wi-Fi, and big classrooms according to the size of the class. The library is good. There are 2 canteens which are big enough. Sports events take place on a large scale which helps students to pursue their careers.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful. The teaching quality is pretty average. Teachers provide notes and the syllabus is vast. Semester exams are difficult. Our college has strict rules. So there is no chance of any violation and we have to write long answers. The pass CGPA is above 5.

Other: Our college organises many events and the environment is good.

Amity University - overall honest.

Placements: Around 65% of students got placed. Top recruiting companies are Flipkart, Kotak, Zee Media, Aaj Tak, etc. Internships are for everyone, but they are not in very good companies. Reporter and anchor are some top roles offered in our course. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA.

Infrastructure: The campus is not very big. There are labs and different practical rooms for different programs and departments. We have a studio for practicals. Other than that everything is okay. The canteen is based on the tender. They give yearly tenders to different restaurants and brands.

Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful and qualified. Exams are very difficult. Our course curriculum is relatable. We got a lot of exposure there. This college makes students industry-ready by providing them with internships on a regular basis but you will get to do internships in the 2nd year.

Other: Our batch is very good. I wanted to do journalism but now I am into PR. Many events are held on campus.

Faculty and infrastructure are well good.

Placements: So, in 2023, the highest placement was 44 LPA by Human Company, which is a Japanese-based company, and in 2024, placement is ongoing. About 28 students got placed out of 60 in BCA, and many of them are going for further studies or starting/continuing their business. So, according to that, the placement rate is good. Many companies like Amazon, Yandex, Infosys, TCS, and many more came to hire in Amity University Ranchi.

Infrastructure: Facilities are given in the campus, such as well-updated labs with new technology and Wi-Fi all over the campus. Currently, the campus is under construction, so there are some limitations. If the campus is completed, the facilities will increase. Currently, the new campus is only given to the new batch, which is from 2024, so I have no idea about that.

Faculty: Amity University Ranchi teachers are well-qualified, and there is no shortage of teachers. They are currently hiring more teachers for teaching, and every teacher has prior experience in the industry or MNCs, so they know how to teach and how to crack any interview. They teach according to that. Exams in Amity are not very hard, but you have to study.

Great campus life, amazing festivals, good infrastructure, dissatisfied with placements in 2024.

Placements: The college placement in general is good, but talking about my course, which is journalism, the placement is very poor. Only a few companies had come in to recruit those with low salaries. Salaries offered ranged from 4.2 LPA (the highest) to 1.8 LPA (the lowest). Companies that came in were publication houses, sales, PR, and so on.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite nice, with all facilities, including Wi-Fi, provided to all students. Classrooms are spacious with AC, and the library is there with all the books required for your course. Additionally, there is a canteen and medical room, but yes, the hostel at Amity Ranchi has yet to be setup. By next year, it will be ready.

Faculty: The faculty is great. They all have great teaching experiences and academic qualifications. The course curriculum has been designed to be relevant, which makes the students industry-ready. Talking about semester exams, it's not that difficult to pass. Topics discussed in class and those mentioned on the syllabus are asked, as are some practical questions that anyone can answer. The passing percentage is 35–40%.

Other: Amity is a great place for campus life and extracurricular activities. Fests, workshops, and seminars are conducted on a regular basis to enhance the learning and participation of students. Amity is even known for its extravagant events. Students enjoy themselves to their fullest during these times.
