Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty and placements.
Placements: In a group of 55 members, only 10 members got placements, and 3 got Non-IT companies. The highest package is 12 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. No companies are recruiting for my course. A total of 15 members got internships at CDAC that were not based on interviews, just recommendations. Most roles offered are Non-IT.
Infrastructure: Amrita Chennai University is a new location in a village 60 km outside of the city, and they are taking a lot of time on infrastructure. The hostels are too bad; they didn't even clean the rooms. The warden told us to clean the room, only the bathrooms were cleaned. The food is average. We want to adjust, but there is no Zomato also.
Faculty: The teachers didn't even have 10 years of experience. They just came with a PPT and explained in the air, that's it. The teachers behave like leaders. They are good with only some local students. Only some teachers, like Maran Sir, have good knowledge about the subjects.
Other: I chose the ECE course. The best thing is learning all about the circuits, but most teachers don't even know how many types of circuits there are. They want to change the faculty first. They have to take 10 years of experienced teachers to take classes. They just put on a festival event only.

Placements are good but you can't experience a proper college life.
Placements: This year almost 40% of the students have been placed till now. The highest package is 26 LPA, and the lowest is 3.3 LPA; the average is 10 LPA. Amazon, Palo Alto, Optum, Cognizant, and TCS are some of the companies that hire here. Around 20% of the students got internships in companies like Honeywell and Amazon. Roles offered vary according to the department.
Infrastructure: Faculty members are good but not great. Wi-Fi is provided, but it is restricted to many websites, like Netflix and Instagram. The food is the worst here. Sambar is provided daily, and the canteen food is sold at high prices. Hostel rules are bad. There are too many rules for girls; outside food is not allowed. Four members share a room.
Faculty: The faculty is not that great; they rush to finish the portions. But there are also very few quality teachers. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant, as it is a deemed university, and they have their own curriculum, but they have some subjects that are total nonsense, where we have to read about a particular person.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of size of campus, good faculty and below average placements in 2024
Placements: 1) In 2024, 45% of students were placed in CSE. Now, the placements are ongoing, so we expect more than 70% of students to be placed. In 2023, 87% were placed in the CSE group. 2) The highest package is 24.6 LPA, the average package is 8.76 LPA, and the lowest package is 3.25 LPA. 3) Oracle and TCS are the top recruiting companies for CSE. 4) Only 10-15 students secured internships from reputed companies.
Infrastructure: Negatives: 1) Wi-Fi is slow in our college, as well as in our hostel. 2) The mess food is not tasty; they don't offer any special dishes, it's sambar and rasam every day. 3) The ground is very small; we can't even play cricket, but we need to play both football and cricket. Positives: 1) The infrastructure of labs and classrooms is good.
Faculty: 1) 90% of the teachers have earned their Ph.D. from reputed colleges. In core CSE subjects, they only explain pseudo code; we need to write code in any language, which helps us to think and gain more knowledge in the subject. 2) The curriculum is the same as that of IIT colleges. 3) Exams are moderate; if you start studying from the first day, you can easily achieve above a 9 GPA. The pass percentage is 93%.

Satisfied with the campus and good infrastructure. Good and friendly faculty.
Placements: In our course, above 90% of students got placed with an average package of 6 LPA. The highest package is 10 LPA and the lowest is 4 LPA. Top recruiters like PwC, IBM, CDAC, Adobe, and based on talent, many more opportunities will be provided by the campus. We should showcase our skills and prove ourselves.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the campus is okay because it's a newly established campus. The new buildings are under construction. After completing, we can see excellent infrastructure with a peaceful environment. The faculty members are good and friendly. In the hostel, we have okay Wi-Fi speed due to full usage. The classrooms are good, the canteen is small, but the food is okay. The mess is also okay. Some days we should adjust.
Faculty: The teachers are very friendly, and the exam pattern they follow is very useful for students to improve their knowledge in each aspect, like implementation skills, searching, etc. The semester exams will be held with utmost security and surveillance, with 2 invigilators. By any chance, if you get caught, the consequences will be tough.
Other: I chose this course because I don't want to be the same as most of the students choosing CSE. This course gives insights into both ECE and CSE concepts and subjects. The festivals are more attractive and colorful to see.

Great Learning Opportunities with Supportive Faculty and Active Campus Life.
Placements: I am a B.Tech CSE 2027 student, and 89% of students from my course were placed. The highest package offered was ₹66 LPA, and the lowest was ₹6 LPA, with an average around ₹15-20 LPA. Top recruiters included Google, Amazon, Microsoft, TCS, CTS, Accenture, and Oracle. About 80% of students received internships in similar companies. Top roles depend on specialization, with many becoming Software Engineers and more.
Infrastructure: Our department offers a variety of labs, Wi-Fi, modern classrooms, and a well-stocked library with all the necessary amenities. The hostel has a nice atmosphere with vegetarian mess and veg/non-veg options in the canteen. Medical facilities are available on campus, along with excellent sports and gaming facilities.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and experienced, with all having PhDs, ensuring excellent teaching quality. The curriculum is industry-relevant, with a dedicated placement department handling student readiness. Semester exams are moderately challenging, requiring a solid understanding of concepts, and the pass percentage is high.
Other: I am from the B.Tech CSE 2027 batch. I chose this course due to my personal interest, as the opportunities to learn here are greater compared to other institutions. Campus life is vibrant, with annual events, fests, and celebrations for every occasion. The campus surroundings are pleasant, scholarships are available, and there are plenty of extracurricular activities.

There are a few changes that need to be made in our college.
Placements: 30 percent of the students from this course were placed. The highest package offered was around 20 LPA, the lowest was around 5 LPA with an average of around 8LPA. 60 percent of the students got internships with Wipro. Roles offered in our college were that of the head of the branch but other campuses offer better roles.
Infrastructure: Our college is still under construction. They are building hostels and new blocks. The quality of the infrastructure is average. The hostel needs a good water facility and a nice infirmary because the it does not have an infirmary. The food is not up to the mark because it has no taste.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified. The course curriculum is relevant. The exams are quite difficult as there are times when people fail in the subjects due to lack of knowledge. The syllabus is on par with the IITs and NITs with practical studies. They apply new rules every time.
