There is no placement and infrastructure. They don't issue certificates, and management is fake.

Placements: There are no placements. Everything depends on students' struggle. They stand in front of shipping company offices and fake agents, and they have paid a huge fee, like 4 lacs to 6 lacs. There is no placement cell at all.

Faculty members are good, but the placements are poor.

Placements: The college doesn't provide any placement opportunities. You can only complete the course in this college; you have to find a job on your own. You can find a job through an agent, or the college will take money and provide you with a job opportunity. Or if you are talented enough, then you can go to the company and crack the interview rounds. If you are lucky, then you will get a job. Otherwise, you should have a reference to get a job.

Just a degree producing machine. And if you have hefty time to waste join the university.

Placements: Not at all. The college didn't think about students. They try to make money out of everything. None in our batch was given placement and no faculty ever tried to get a company to the university. There are some 20 -30 year back alumni who are in some good dept. But during my period of staying everyone was struggling to get a job, some are working at 6000 per month as machine operators. College will never help you in anything. I did got to do some internship, but all without the college's help. Th...

Annamalai University is a golden nightmare.

Placements: The placements on the campus are poor. They don't call the companies at all. There is only one company called Newgen, which visited the campus, but selected only one student out of 700 students. We used to ask the HOD for inviting the companies, but he always used to say that we have to find the job by ourselves.

A bad and improper way of studying engineering where you gain nothing but simply loose 4 years.

Placements: The placements are very bad. Only very bad BPOs and voice process oppurtunities are offered here. A bad opportunity to start a career here. I don't undertake to study engineering because one will end up having no skills, friends and memories.

Average college life. Worst hostel life. Nobody cares and all they need is money.

Placements: No placement opportunities offered by the college. They just give a degree. They promise that the companies will visit, but they don't invite anyone. Neither do companies opt this college for the recruitment which is worthless. Take admission if nothing else works out as the last option for maritime courses. I would recommend joining any college than this.

Worst University. Please don't take admission here otherwise you will spoil your future.

Placements: There is no placement in Annamalai University. In my branch (ECE), placement is zero. We tried to meet the placement incharge but he was too busy to meet us. We went to the registrar but we were disappointed. So don't hope for placement. The placement is almost zero here. At the time of admission they will keep promising you that they will provide you placement in MNCs but after admission, nothing is done of that sort.

Bad for north Indian students, no placements, no quality education.

Placements: No placements as far as I know. Several companies come which ask for no backlogs and a minimum of 6.5 pointer. They offer merely 2 lakhs per annum, which is very less, and mostly of a BPO type. You can not have internship also as they want attendance more than your studies.

Worst college in whole universe!!

Placements: Not good enough. They are having only BPOs more than course related companies. They only give importance to electrical branches. Not even respecting and guiding non-electrical branches. Even placement is done only for ECE, CSE, EEE students.

The college has got enough of issues with the university. Please ensure that the course you have selected is approved from UGC and AICTE. Also, verify the same with UGC before joining. College infrastructure is good. Faculty and administration is average. Poor mess facilities. Average sports facilities.

I studied from distance education which will help me to start my business career. It helped me to improve my Photoshop. This is the good distance education program offered by this university. So Annamalai University is a good university in Tamil Nadu. I would recommend it to all of you there.

Most of the faculty members have poor English. Various courses are available but placements are not good. Very few campus facilities are provided. The most missed one being a good cafeteria, waiting hall, and a Wi-Fi zone. The college is very crowded. Officials are slow workers, and discrimination against North Indians exists.

It is an extremely bad college. No placements just study. They ruin students’ life and then their life becomes really difficult after graduating since it is really hard nowadays to get a job in the market. The college has an elite faculty but what is needed at the end of the day is placement, which this college has 0%. So think 100 times before even visiting this college, I ruined my life, didn’t want others to do so too.

Not a good college to do engineering from.

Placements: The placements from this college were not good at all. We really struggled with the limited companies that came on campus. The packages offered were also not that good. The college really needs to improve on this aspect as the students have very high hopes which do not get fulfilled.

The worst marine college. Don't go for this college. No placement and worst facilities.

Placements: Only 10-20% students passed from my course. No company came for the placement. If you want placement then the college will assist you and in return they will charge a sum of about 4-5 lakh. A few students from my batch got placed in 3rd class companies by paying 3-4 lakh INR.
