Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) - Batch of 2024

3.8

PG College of Korba (Government College) Bilaspur University.
Placements: Every year there is an employment fest (mela). My friend went and he got a job in Mahindra. But also, one student of the college didn't make it in Mahindra because he failed in the interview. Many companies also came like Balco and others. I think it is up to the student, if he wants it, then he has to give it his all, like make a goal or something.
Infrastructure: It's good. I'm a commerce student, and I don't face anything bad. There is a water purifier at the entrance of every class. The library is good, but not all types of books are available. According to the course, like mine was B.Com, there were books. It's like the books are mostly related to the course that is studied in college. Wi-Fi is available. Labs are also there, I saw them many times while passing through the corridors. The canteen is there, but I don't have money to buy everything from the canteen, it's good though. There is a small gym and a big ground or field area for sports. NCC, NSS, Scout, and Guide students come and practice, and sports practice is done there because it's a huge ground.
Faculty: Above average because we know what the course will give. I'm a regular student, which means I really get some value in life from college. That's why I give it above average. I can't explain it now, it's like if you go to college regularly, you feel this.
Other: There are many colleges, but this college has the most students. I'm not saying that the quantity means it's a good college. But it's not a bad college to go to. It's up to the student whether they want to study or bunk the class. It's an above-average college.

Good placements & campus.
Placements: Recently our college organised a job opportunity program with the company PATRA India BPO Services Pvt. Ltd., and more than 5 people from my batch got selected. The salary is also very high, and I'm very happy that I got an opportunity to participate.
Infrastructure: All the things are well maintained, and the food quality of our canteen is very good, and prices are also reasonable. We play games in the college garden and also do jamming sometimes with our friends. Everything is excellent about this college and teachers.
Faculty: Teachers are very friendly in nature, and they also help us through our academic concerns. The curriculum is also very easy; everyone is studying very peacefully; there is no problem. Exams are not that tough, and the passing percentage is 33% minimum.
Other: Everything is good about this college.

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) - Batch of 2024

Gvms college of commerce and economics college review.
Placements: Not all students are able to secure placements, as only those who score above 50% are eligible for good placements. Prominent companies such as Cipla, Bajaj, Tata, etc. are the top recruiters. The average package received by students is Rs. 1,50,000. Additionally, it is worth noting that almost all B.com students are able to secure internships.
Infrastructure: Our college provides excellent Wi-Fi connectivity, ensuring a seamless online experience. The computer lab is well-equipped and up to standard. Additionally, our classrooms are equipped with projectors for enhanced learning. Our library in Goa is renowned for its extensive collection of books, catering to a wide range of interests. The canteen maintains high levels of hygiene, although the food may not be to everyone's liking. Unfortunately, the sports facilities and gymkhana are inadequate and require improvement.
Faculty: Several instructors at the college demonstrate exceptional dedication and provide valuable assistance. Their teaching methods are highly effective and easily comprehensible. However, the B.com course offered lacks relevance to the industry, failing to adequately prepare students for the professional world. Additionally, the semester-end exams at this college are challenging, resulting in a pass percentage of only 60% for students.
Other: I think there is need to improve sports facilities, gymkhana and canteen.

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) - Batch of 2023
Offered by CMD College
3.6

The good place to start a college life.
Placements: The percentage of students in my college is average; it's about 60% of the total B.Com batch that comes every day. The average package for B.Com graduates is not good, around 100,000 approximately. There are no companies visiting our college, and some students in my batch got internships. I do B.Com with Taxation, so some of my classmates got internships, but no roles are offered in our department.
Infrastructure: The classrooms of our college are substandard. They are okay but not very good; they are sometimes clean and sometimes not. There is no canteen in our college, no sports facilities, and no medical facilities. There is no hostel in my college, and Wi-Fi is also not available. However, the library is good.
Faculty: The teachers in my college are highly educated and very good at teaching. However, the curriculum provided to us is not valuable; they do not make any student industry-ready. The exams are very hard, and the teachers are strict during our exams.
Other: I chose this course because I have a commerce background and was looking for a graduation degree. It would be very nice if the college could provide some placement opportunities. The events at my college are okay, but it is not very safe to go because sometimes there are political parties involved, which can harm students.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) - Batch of 2025
Offered by Uttam Memorial College
2.2
3Placements3Infrastructure2Faculty1Crowd & Campus Life2Value for Money
Average College for BBA course. 10% chance of placement .
Placements: 0% of students were placed by BBA. B.Com students got placement in some companies, with their package being 70,000 and the average package being 4.2 LPA., while the lowest was 2 LPA. The recruiting companies belong to a local steel company near Raigarh. Managers, supervisors, and HR are the top roles offered by BBA.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are very small and not ever clear. Library has no books and the available books are not up to date. There is no mess available. Medical facilities are on average and the College organises sports and games programme every year and the students have fun in that function.
Faculty: Old teachers have good knowledge and teaching qualities, but the teachers newly appointed for the course are average. The teachers help the students build their confidence by organizing many business activities and games. The passing percentage is 35.
Other: There is no fest No annual function .

There are no skillful courses available. Graduation and post graduation available.
Placements: Less than 30 percent of student were placed in this college. Most of them are placed in private sector. The highest package is 30000, the lowest package is 8000 and average is 12000 offered in my course. Top Recruiting companies are- Reliance Retail, Jiomart, Zomato, some private banks, Hindustan petroleum and other small local companies. Less than 30 percent students got internship from this course. Most of them are in Reliance retail, Jio smart, Zomato and petroleum companies.
Infrastructure: Basic facilities are available. Labs are good and all equipments are available. Classrooms are good and clean library available. There is a big sports room which is specially designed for only sports and games. Many sports equipments are available. There is no hostel and no canteen, medical facilities not available. Sports and games facilities are good.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, all are qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good but teaches do not come regularly. Empty periods are very disappointing for the students. This course does not make students industry ready. Semester exams are easy and 40 percentage is the passing percentage.
Other: I chose this course only for the degree. Nothing is good about this course, we cant learn any skill in B.Sc. The syllabus is the worst. It will not make us job ready. Events are nicely celebrated. Campus is peaceful, road connectivity is good, helipad available, scholarship available. This college is very good for NCC aspirants.
