Placements: A high rated IT company like HCl, Wipro, and TCS comes to our college, and this college had a good placement record to last year. Some of my seniors have got placed in higher MNCs. Students normally get an average package of 3-3.5 lacs per annum, and they have secured jobs.
Placements: The placements are totally dependent upon the quality of student. More the student is talented in the industries better you get chances to secure a job. Many companies show their interest towards this college. Last year, only those students were selected who were totally into their field. They were holding good communication skills, and confidence spoke. For them, the average package is about 2 LPA. Moreover, the companies visiting this college are likely to be startups, so there is an opportuni...
Placements: The placement is not that good. But, if you deserve good, then you will get good in the internal drives or external mediums. I got placed through a pool campus drive held at another college involving a total of 3 colleges and out of those three, one was GNIOT, so I got an opportunity to get placed.
Placements: The placements are actually been better in the last 2 years. The average package offered is 4-5 lacs per annum for EC, CS, and IT students which totally depends on your skill. For CE, it is difficult to find one here as no core companies visit. However, some local companies do offer 3-4 lacs. The automobile, EE and ME branch students are not placed.
Placements: Regarding placement, the company that recruited were mostly related to the field of IT industry. Mechanical engineering and other branches placements were negligible. The college does not know how to conduct pool campus. They call many companies, but only 3 to 4 companies are good, rest of them are for making a fool for freshers.
Placements: The computer science and IT department have very good placement and EC also. But in the mechanical department, fewer students are placed. I think 5-6 students are placed every year. The civil department is same as the mechanical department. But overall CSE and IT is good.
Placements: The placements offered is not good in this college. Only 20-30% of the students get placed. The average package they get is around 3 lacs per annum. Only CSE and IT branch student gets placed in this college. Very few students of the other branches are placed, and the average package was offered around 2 lacs per annum only. Very few students also get a package of 6-7 lacs per annum, but those are the brilliant ones.
Placements: The placements are average, and companies such as Phorensis, Smartprix, Paytm, Bhilwara have visited our campus. Approximately 20 students are placed in companies. The highest package that was offered was 2.5 lacs per annum, and the lowest package was 1.8 lacs per annum.
Placements: Placement depends on the individual's skills. In general, placements are average. Too many expectations should not be there. I am in the first year, I have not seen the placements phase, but I am sharing what my seniors told me. As per seniors, if you have the knowledge then chances are there that you will get placed either on campus or through off campus. I am not aware of the companies which regularly visit the college.
Placements: I didn't get placed. Based on the placement reviews of batches passed out in 2008 and 2009, I have taken the admission. But when we came up for placements, it was not satisfactory. The batches passed after mine got improved in their placements. But I must say before taking admission do a thorough review. Go to the college, ask the students about the current status of placements.
Placements: The placement is good, especially for core branches like computer science, IT, EC, and EE. The faculty is very supportive and the college provides additional crash courses for placement assistance and provides proper information about campus/pool placement of nearby colleges. Aptitude and reasoning classes are now started in the college. More than 50% placement. They get about 1.8 LPA to 3.8 LPA. From this year, the students are getting placed in civil engineering core branches. ...
Placements: If you have the better skill, then your placement is confirmed. There is no doubt & if you ask about the placement percentage, then about 90% of the students are placed in this college, but the maximum package will be 4 lakh per annum, and the average will be 2-2.5 lakhs per annum. Several companies come every year in this college, but the placement of civil & mechanical branch is very bad. Only 1 or 2 companies come for the civil & mechanical branches.
Placements: The placement was good. Almost 60 % of the students were selected on-campus. The highest package was 9 LPA. The lowest package was 3.5 LPA, and the average was 5.6 LPA. The companies visited are L&T, BirlaSoft, TCS, 3Pillar Global, United Health Group, Sapient. 30% of the students got the internship. The highest stipend was 20K/month, and the lowest stipend 10K/month, and the average ranges from 12-15k/month.
Placements: GNIOT provides ample placement facilities. They have dedicated placement cell. The average salary is 3 lakhs per annum, and the lowest package is around 1.8 lakhs per annum. The mechanical and civil branch students do not have a great placement record. A major portion of companies that come for recruitment is BPO or Tech services, and even enough number of core companies also come for recruitment.
Placements: GNIOT ensures providing 100% placements for the electronics and communication branch before my Joining. But in the 4th year, we analyzed that to the electronics and communication engineering people were also getting "so-called" job profiles of marketing. IT and CS departments' placements are too good. There were many companies who took only GNIT students with great respect. 70% students were placed in my pass out batch. The highest salary offered was 15.7 LPA and the lowest was 2 LPA. 0% stude...
Placements: In GNIT, they are providing placements for all streams including CS, EC, IT and they have minimum placement in core branches like electrical, mechanical and civil. Placements are up to you. They have a very good library on their campus. Their management is too good like other colleges. GNIT has a separate campus for girls and their infrastructure in good.
Placements: For civil engineering, there are no placements but for other branches (CS, IT, EC and many engineering branches) they will provide a platform or companies which are sufficient for these students. The college placement incharge takes the responsibility for placements of students other than in civil engineering and mechanical engineering.
Placements: Placement is not so good. Only a few companies visited this college. Management of the college is not working hard for the students' placement. Some companies did visit but they are not well-known or reputed.
Placements: Mechanical placements in core companies are yet not available, so we have to do IT jobs. Mechanical engineers, at last, have to do a job in an IT company for the fear of being unemployed. The mechanical department needs placement officers who have a direct contact with core companies, which helps many students.
Placements: Basically, the placement in the civil department is very tough in the campus drive, but this year, I don't know why but most of the companies had an interest in recruiting civil department students. In fact, I was also recruited by a company called Rine Consultancy at a good package of 5.16 lakh. But at last, I feel I was cheated because most of the companies who had their interest in picking civil students were fraud or most of them were consultancies. So, recruitment was poor in the civil d...
